Knit Sweater Cardigans

Branching out a little bit, I wanted to share this with you all. (Especially my Australian followers!)
With winter fast approaching, I've noticed a lovely new trend in fashion - knit sweater cardigans! I'm a huge fan of jumpers and sweaters, a huge fan of knit, and an even huger fan of cardigans! I love items you can actually button up, so this new trend hitting the stores is a God-send for me!

This particular sweater is a very gorgeous red cable-knit sweater with simple brass buttons.

A close up of the material.

It's fairly thick, so it's nice and warm for winter time! I'm not ashamed to admit this, but I purchased this particular sweater from K-Mart, for only $19.00! That's an absolutely amazing price for a knit sweater, so thick and warm! A sweater like this from any other store, such as Dotti (even though I LOVE Dotti, some things can be a tad overpriced) would be about $59.95, so that's a huge saving.

This is what the sweater looks like on.

I really love it! It's something very easy to wear, it's so comfortable and warm, and not scratchy at all.
When I told my boyfriend where I got it, he was disgusted by this. I scolded him though. Would he prefer me spend $19 at K-Mart for the same sweater I could buy elsewhere for over $40? He would never know the difference if I never mentioned it, and neither will anybody else!

I feel K-Mart is really stepping up their game when it comes to clothing, they used to be kind of tacky, but now they're actually bringing out some really fashion forward clothing! So head down to your local K-Mart, where your money will go a long way with some gorgeous pieces! (As long as you're not too fussy with brands and labels!)

Have you found any amazing clothing at stores you never thought possible? Or, what do you think of the knit sweater cardigan trend?

    2. I agree! Now I often opt for K-Mart since their prices are much reasonable than Big W in most cases.

The sweater is a great find dear. I love the deep red and the contrasting gold buttons. ^^
