Naked Nails 7 Day Challenge - Sally Hansen

I picked up this Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle Salon Strength Treatment about a week ago, as one of my nails broke and left me with short nails again! My nails have always been slow when it came to growing, and they are rather weak and break easily, much to my annoyance!
So I figured I would spring for something fancy (as most of the strengtheners I buy never seem to do the job) and try out Sally Hansen. I'm already in love with her products, so I was more than happy to pay a whopping $18.95 for this product from Priceline.
So introducing my "Naked Nails 7 Day Challenge!" Hopefully in the future I can try other products that claim similar results so I can compare them!

So, what does it do?
Promises visibly longer nails in 5 days, to be more exact; 30%. Now, I'm not sure about you but I'm not sure if I will know for sure if it was exactly 30% or not, so I don't really care about that part. I do care about the "visibly longer" part though! I was also very interested to hear that it helps strengthen the nails too.

The packaging is just adorable, I think. I love the gold bottle!

I tried this seven days ago. I gave it a full week, I just felt 5 days wasn't long enough. Firstly, I loved the mixture. It went on beautifully and dried super fast, which made it a lot easier to apply. Usually I'm happy to wait for my nails to dry properly if I'm applying a pretty colour, as I get something in the end. Waiting for clear polish is a nightmare, it feels like you get no result in the end of all that waiting! But luckily, this was a breeze

My nails on day one, just before I applied my first coat. As you can see the ends are a bit brittle and my pointer finger is broken and yucky! Let's see how we did after seven days...

... And voila! You can already tell that the ends are less brittle (I did not file these at all throughout the seven days!) and the length has improved. Of course they are shiner due to the polish, but they already look healthier to me. They feel a lot stronger when I put pressure on them, and don't bend as easily as they did before.

As I've said before, I've tried a lot of different products for my nails so I never really expected just a polish to do much. But I figured I'd try Sally Hansen, and I'm so glad I did. I will certainly keep using this one as a base coat at the very least, if not alone, to keep my nails strong and growing long and luxurious!

Overall, I'm really pleased with the end result. I'm not sure if that's 30%, and I'm not really sure why they bother giving a percentage when there is no real way of telling if it's really grown that much. But you can't argue with results that are shown to you!

So have you tried Sally Hansen polishes before? What did you think? Do you have a go-to polish for strengthening and lengthening?
