So June is finally upon us, which means I have to stick to my "no spend June" promise that I gave myself. Don't know why I would do such a silly thing! Either way, knowing that June was coming, I decided to do a bit haul at the end of May and spend all my money! So I thought I would share my purchases with you!
Firstly I picked up two Essence Gel Eyeliners in purple and silver. I was happy because the purple liner was on sale for only $3.00 while the silver was the usual price of only $5.95 - so inexpensive!
My ASOS order also arrived. I picked up the Nail Rock nail wraps in Metallic Silver which I like to think is an inexpensive (perhaps not so amazing) dupe for Minx nails! These only cost me $11.39 which is a great price, considering ASOS does not charge anything for shipping either!
With Ozsale sending me the incorrect order (I'll get into the later...) I needed a new foundation brush, so I went into Priceline and picked up this gorgeous Artiste foundation brush. I found this a bit expensive at $21.95, but I really wanted to give them a go.
These Revlon lipsticks come from two different orders. The first two I received: "Rosedew" and "Chocolate Velvet" in an order from Catch of the Day, who had an offer of two for $2.00, only catch is you can't pick the colours! I took the plunge and actually got lovely colours! I was pleased!
The other three came from a mixed up order from Ozsale. Not sure if I can keep these yet, so I've yet to break the seals, but I thought I would include them as well!
From Ozsale I ordered a nail polish and a brush, but they sent me three lipsticks instead. Not sure how they mixed that up!
I also received my order from Beautyjoint.com. I wasn't sure if they would ship nail polish overseas, but I'm so happy they did!
I chose two Kleancolor Nail Laquers (How could you not at only $1.75 each!) in "Pink Fairy" and "Twinkly Love." They are actually amazing quality for the price, so I will be heading back in July for SO many more!
I also picked up China Glaze's "For Audrey" which I've seen everywhere! Who can resist this!
This was another order I'd had from Ozsale when they were having $3.00 Revlon polishes! I picked up three colours (more actually but I've put some aside for my sister's birthday - I'm giving her a home-made beauty box with all her favourites! I'll definitely share once I give it to her. After her birthday of course!) in "Pink Lingerie", "Iced Spice" and "Amber Ablaze!" Very happy as I love Revlon polishes!
More nail polish! I had to get Sally Hansen's Crackle Overcoat in "Snow Blast" as her white is the most amazing crackle white I've ever seen! I also picked up a few Ulta3 polishes whilst browsing in a chemist, I couldn't resist! I chose "Blue Glitter" and "Tangelo" I also picked up an Essence polish in "Make It Golden."
More nail polish! You must all think me crazy by now! I noticed these beautiful BYS Nail Art sticks in my local K-Mart for only $2.00 each - how could I resist! My work had given me a $10 gift card for being a good worker (yay) so I spent it all on nail art! I bought five pretty colours, but ended up going back to buy one more black as the black I had bought ended up being black glitter - while nice, I lusted after normal black!
More BYS! I purchased the Mirror "Ruby Slippers" for only $2.00 (There will be a NOTD coming soon!) and the "Pink on the Brink" glitter polish, as well as the Pink Quake polish. I'd also purchased the Black Quake but as you all know, it ended up being empty (seriously, again? I need to start checking!) so I advised BYS and they were lovely enough to send me a replacement, as well as a Red Quake and a blue "Colour Change" which I'm really excited to try!
Now to the really fun stuff! I picked up the OPI Spookettes from Ozsale's OPI sale! I got this for $20, so while not overly cheap, I was still happy as I'd never seen this anywhere else before and I've always wanted it!
Alone by itself, I picked up the OPI Red Shatter from Priceline during their $10.00 sale!
I also picked up the whole pack of the OPI Skinsationals Avojuice Skin Quenchers for only $18! I love OPI products so I can't wait to use these!
Lucky last, I also picked up the "Barefoot Beauties" pack for only $35, which includes as Avojuice Skin Quencher, a miniature bottle of nail polish remover, toe separators and two bottles of polish - Base Coat & Top Coat, which alone are worth $40!
So overall, I mostly treated my nails this month, which I'm okay with! My nails sometimes get ignored, so they really got treated this month! I hope you like all my purchases!
Have you tried any of these? If so, what did you think?
Looks like you'll be having a lot of fun during your no spend june even if you can't buy anything for now.
ReplyDeleteHaha very true! At least I have lots of lovely new things to try while I can't spend :)

Goodness, dear! That's a lot of pretty things! I'm getting dizzy just looking at them. Haha! I bet come July, I'll be seeing another post much like this from you! (:

Haha yes, definitely end of July there will be a giant post! :D

Jeez you bought a fair lot of stuff. The kleancolors look really interesting!
ReplyDeleteI know! I'm a shopaholic hehe!
DeleteThe Kleancolours are AMAZING lol! I'm in love with them now! They last a decent amount of time too, considering they are only $1.75! And the bottle is just a little smaller than the China Glaze so it's pretty good sized too :) As you can tell, I'm excited about them lol!
xx
It's so easy to go mad on nail polishes, isn't it!? I can't pass a shop that sells them without getting one or two, and they really do add up over the space of a month!
ReplyDeleteLove the Kleancolor one with the little hearts in it!

You're exactly right, Elizabeth! It's so much easier to buy cheap nail polish as it's so.. cheap! haha it feels like you're not spending too much, even though it ends up expensive at the end like in my case :P

Thanks hun! :) xx
DeleteSo many nail polishes! Aha they all look like lovely colours though!
ReplyDeleteHow is the quality of BYS polishes? I've heard that they're not great but they have a new formula...
Haha sounds like something I would do, swear not to buy anything in June but stock up in May! :P
Haha! I'm glad we're the same then :P
DeleteActually the BYS have really stepped up their game with the polishes! They did change their formula and it's made a big difference! My sister swears by them lol. I mean, for the price range ($2.00 - $4.00) it's excellent considering. You get a pretty decent sized bottle of polish and while it's not extremely long staying (although I had a mirror polish from them that stayed FOREVER!) you get about five good days from it, at least I did!
Urgh sorry about the spam reply :P I could have just said "they're good!" lol!
xx
The essence nail polishes are the cutest!! And Essence in general is so inexpensive - LOVE THE BRAND. Can I ask how good the BYS nail polishes are? They're so cheap, but I'm so hesitant to purchase anything from BYS (I've had a couple of bad experiences). xx
ReplyDeleteEssence IS so cute, I love them! Plus the price is soo tempting!
DeleteBYS, I've only had good experiences with their polishes since they've revamped their brand. I'm not sure about before (Honestly I never bothered with them) but since they've changed their formula, they are pretty good! With their mirror polish which only costs $2.00, it lasted me well over a week and even when I decided to take it off, it hadn't chipped once! Other colours were a bit different, didn't last as long, but still pretty long considering the price :)
xx
What a great haul! At least you have some things to play with in your 'no spend' time!
