June Haul

So this is basically my virtual walk of shame. If you read my blog regularly, you'll know I'm supposed to be on no spend June. Well, Priceline's Pink Dot sale put a prompt stop to that, and once I'd started, I couldn't stop! So rather than waiting until the end of the month when I'm sure my haul will be triple the size of this one, I thought I'd share it with you now!

Essence Gel Eyeliner in Midnight in Paris
Maybelline Eye Studio in Carbon Frost
Essence Marble Mania Mascara in Michael's Black or Silver

I noticed the Essence stand in my local Target had finally been restocked after about six months of there being absolutely nothing! I also noticed they had a new trend set of items, "Marble Mania!" I needed the black gel eyeliner, so, it had to be purchased! The Marble Mania mascara was a bit of a impulse buy though as I already have way too many mascaras as it is, and haven't even had a chance to use this one yet!

The Maybelline eye studio colour was only $4.00, as K-Mart was having a sale, so how could I not get this!

Savvy by DB Classic Blush in Cherry
BYS Blusher in Pretty in Pink
BYS Blusher in Coral
Savvy by DB Classic Blush in Silky Pink

I know, I know, I went totally blush crazy! I was lusting after the BYS Blushers for so long after seeing them on countless blogs, and I knew I had to have them!
My sister and I spent about 20 minutes at the Savvy by DB stall in Priceline a couple of days ago and I walked away with two blushes there too, at only $4.95 a pop, how can you go wrong? Their colours are so pigmented and beautiful, I'm truly loving Savvy by DB right now!

Covergirl Tru Conceal Concealer in 01
Essence Soft Touch Mousse Make-up in 04 Matt Ivory
Savvy by DB Liquid Foundation in Porcelain
Modes Prefer Liquid Foundation in Ivory

Okay, so I definitely didn't need all of these products! I did truly need the concealer as the one I currently have sucks - to put it politely!

I jumped right on the Essence Soft Touch mousse as something light to wear when I didn't want to get all dolled up, and it works perfectly! I also really wanted it since it has finally been stocked in my colour!

The Savvy by DB was only $9.95 so I thought I would give it a go. The packaging is super cheap but the product is not too bad for the price.

I knew I'd regret this buy but I had to try the Models Prefer foundation, at a discounted price, I really wanted it! But I actually really love the coverage and have been using it every day! So score!

Zoya Nail Polish in Kimber
Zoya Nail Polish in Carly
China Glaze Nail Polish in Electrify
Kleancolor "Oh Yes, I do" Bridal Essence Mini Nail Polish Collection

I really, really, really wanted Electrify so I caved and got it from Beauty Joint when I was buying so polishes for my sister, and on top of that I had to pick up the Kealcolor mini set! How cute is it! It was only $4.95 so no big loss there! I know, bad Jasmine!

I was very excited to get a parcel in the post today from the lovely Lizzy from The Do It Yourself Lady as I won a giveaway she so generously hosted! I was so, so happy as I had never had the opportunity to try Zoya products before, and I got first choice of colours so I was very pleased indeed! They look so professional and amazing, I really can't wait to try them!

So there you have it! My extremely shameful haul, I could not even contain my spending for just one month! I'll definitely try again probably around September when I know there are no horrible mid-year sales to bother me, and I'll be saving and spending for Christmas instead, so hopefully that will work out better! Either way I'm promising myself to save more this month, not spend too much unless I really, really want to hehe, no more impulse buys! Surely I can manage that, at least! Wish me luck!
