Bioré Gentle Make-Up Removing Wipes

I love makeup removing wipes. I love them! I use them every single day - it's such an easy way to get rid of excess makeup and dirt on my face! Usually I would just buy the cheapest ones I could find, because hey, they're all just wet wipes, right?
Wrong!

I tried the Bioré Gentle Makeup Removing Wipes. These ones have green tea, which is oh so yummy for the skin! I'd never tried the Bioré wipes before, as I figured why spend the extra cash on something I can get for $2.99? But I'm so happy I gave these a go, what a difference they made!

The actual wipe itself was much less wet than the ones I usually buy, which made it a lot easier to use. It was also a nicer feel than other brands I've used, and felt more natural and soft on the skin, not at all like the wet wipes I remember pulling out of the tube when on holidays! It's more like a wet piece of clothe rather than a wet piece of paper!

Wow, look how much makeup came off! And this was after washing my face with soap! My face was seemingly clean (aside from a little bit - or well, looks more like a lot - of eye makeup!) and it just goes to show what icky dirt could be lurking on the skin, waiting for you to fall asleep so it can do it's damage!

These wipes were so soothing and far more enjoyable to use than the cheap alternatives. I now know the difference between buying cheap wipes, and buying worth it wipes! Bioré wipes are definitely worth it!

I've used these every night to clean my face completely after washing it, to make sure all the makeup and dirt was gone before starting my skin care regime!

The smell is glorious too, like the rest of the Bioré range, and it definitely left my skin feeling refreshed, and most of all, clean!

These gorgeous wipes retail at $8.99.

This product was kindly provided for my consideration. :)

  1. I use these aswell! They're great! Especially with the textured cloth, it really helps to get everything up.

  3. Great review ! I've always used cleansers to remove makeup..but this sounds like a time saving alternative.

  4. Thanks for the review! I've used a number of facial wipes (as I'm a lazy bum who can't be bothered washing her face after a day out with makeup) and I've found its quite hard to get one with a soft texture for my skin. The Priceline branded wipes, although does it's job efficiently, are pretty rough, most particularly the aloe vera ones which I've used countless times as opposed to the "calming" ones in purple. I was actually thinking of turning to baby wipes instead, haha. I will try to get my hands on this once I've finished with the Priceline wipes. :)

    1. Hahaha! I found the same thing with the Priceline ones actually! I mean, they are lovely, but they aren't as soft as you'd expect :( I definitely saw a difference when using these ones instead!
See how you go but otherwise maybe we should all switch to baby wipes haha! :)

  5. I love these too! I took a pack with me when I went overseas a few years ago. They did wonders for my skin and when I run out of everything else I'm going to start buying them again. Great review!
