Face of Australia Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons

I'm sure you've already read about a million reviews on the amazing Face of Australia Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons, but I figured I'd share my personal views about the product with my lovely followers!

These gorgeous little lip crayons have developed quite a following, and so far everywhere I've been these have been sold out and the Face of Australia stand ransacked! I was very lucky indeed to find these hidden away in my local K-Mart, on sale too, mind you!

This is what the packaging looks like, so you have a good idea of what you're looking for whilst stalking any store that sells Face of Australia! I've been looking everywhere for a second pack of these to add to my next giveaway, or even to give to my sister for her birthday, but unfortunately, my local K-Mart has finally sold out too.

So, let's have a look at some swatchies and find out what I thought!

Cupcake

This is a gorgeous light pink colour that I assumed would be my favourite. I'm a sucker for pink, and love the way it makes my lips look. This is perfect with big dark eyes, and really makes the rest of my face pop! It's probably the sheerest colour out of all of them, so it's great for a nice nude feel.

Macaron

Even though I thought Cupcake would be my favourite, Macaron shone through and has since become my most worn lip crayon! The sheerness of the colour leaves the colour looking soft and warm, not too bold. I absolutely love the way it makes my lips look, and it's very flattering!

Sundae

I've read that most people assumed they would never wear this one, but I knew straight away this would be a colour I'd wear often! It's definitely very flattering with my skin tone and perfect for the down-to-earth natural look. This colour is probably actually the glossiest in the three, but definitely a winner!

Cupcake, Macaron, Sundae

Here's how the colours look on something other than my lips. As you can see they are pigmented well for a sheer gloss!

Overall, I am absolutely in love with these crayons. Everything about them is just perfect! I love the packaging, I love the names, I love the colours and I love the textures.

The crayons are very long lasting for what they are also, and for a low cost of only $14.95, how can you go wrong? This is definitely a more cost effective alternative to the long awaited Revlon Lip Butters, although unfortunately the Face of Australia crayons don't have as many colours as Revlon.

I'm very happy with these crayons. They look great, feel great, last long and are very easy to apply! Face of Australia; please make more colours!

Have you tried the Face of Australia Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons yet?
