Melbourne Bloggers Meetup

From left to right:

For those of you who follow me on Twitter, I'm sure you've noticed me tweet to a few other lovely beauty bloggers about a Melbourne meet up! Well, we all finally did it!

It was such a lovely time, meeting up with like minded ladies to do a bit of shopping and a whole lotta swatching!

So I really just wanted to share our experience with you all, and of course, a few photos of the lovely faces behind the blog!

(Now, I wasn't sure who wanted their real names out there and who didn't, so I stuck with screen names for the sake of courtesy! Make sure you check out their blogs though, if you haven't already, as they are all absolutely gorgeous people!)

So that's my photo spam of our gorgeous faces!
Now, as you all know, I am on a spending ban. But, being that this is the first time I've been out with a bunch of girls who adore make-up for - well, ever - I decided it was a special occasion and decided to splurge on a few things I'd had my eye on!
I definitely didn't go overboard, I only got two things, so I think I can be forgiven!

Colette Gold Metal Clutch

I saw this, and I had to have it. It was the last one, otherwise I would have happily waited until the boyfriend could buy it for me! (Sneaky, I know!)
But after much deliberation, I decided to get it! It's something I've been looking for for a while, so I figured I'd might as well pick it up while I had the chance!

Lush Emotional Brilliance Lip Colour

This, I could not resist! I'd had my eye on these for so long, and although I wanted to buy practically all of the set, I settled for just one can't-live-without colour! It's a gorgeous bright pink/coral colour that I feel looks perfect on me, so I decided - why not? Haven't looked back!

Sadly, my sister and I had to leave a little early to meet up with my boyfriend so I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked, however it was a really great night! Both my sister and I don't really have many friends who are in love with make-up like we are, so it was so refreshing to shop with a bunch of like-minded ladies who didn't judge us for squealing over cosmetics!

I'd definitely do it again, and absolutely any beauty blogger (or beauty lover - you don't even have to have a blog!) can join in next time! It's just fun to get together and shop, swap tips and of course - SWATCH!

So if you're interested, you can tweet any one of us on twitter or talk to us on our blogs, we'd all be happy to meet up again and with any beauty lover out there!
