Lust Have It! Pink Ribbon Mystery Hamper

A little while ago I noticed that Lust Have It! were offering a Pink Ribbon Mystery Hamper on their website for $49, and the proceeds go to the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness charity. So I figured, why not? It's always nice to give something, but it's also nice to receive something in return!

I was shocked to receive this absolutely gorgeous faux wood box, with a beautiful big pink ribbon! The box is reusable, and will be perfect for storage!

But, more importantly, let's find out what's inside...

The box was listed as a beauty hamper for 2-4 people.

Look at all those goodies! There's a few things in there that I'm fairly excited about...

Lancome Juicy Tubes minis x2

I was very happy with this! I've never had a chance to try Lancome Juicy Tubes before, so now I have no excuse! The colour is just gorgeous, and I've given the second one to my sister!

Dermalogica Multivitamin Powder Recovery Masque minis x4

I was also really pleased with this! I haven't had much of a chance to try Dermalogica before, and I especially love masks, so this will be perfect! I've given one to my sister and one to my mum, so there is still two left over for me!

Bed Head by Tigi Glaze Haze minis x4

This is a smoothing hair serum. I gave one to my sister who put it through her hair straight away, and liked it! I'm happy there are four, one for my sister, one for my mum, and two for me!

Lon Vitalite 24k Active Gold Eye Mask samples x4

I've received this in a Lust Have It before and actually never tried them, so I will have to give them a go!

Show Face Blusher x2

I really should give one over to my sister, but they are two different colours and I love both of them, so I'm going to be greedy! They don't seem to have any names on them though, which is a shame.

Eau Thermale Avene Gentle Eye Makeup Remover samples x4

Can never go wrong with some eye makeup remover. I've used a previous sample of this before and liked it, so it will be handy to have another few lying around. I did give one to my mum and sister though.

Pure Fiji Nourishing Exotic Oil in Orange Blossom samples x4

This smells and feels amazing! Of course I've shared with mum and sister as well, but I wish I didn't! They are so nice, I didn't want to share! I will probably write a full review for this at some point!

Baby Foot x4

I'd heard a little bit about this from a previous box (where I did not receive the same type of box) and was intrigued and a little disappointed I didn't get to test it out! Both mum and sister were very interested as well, so I've shared around and in a few weeks, hopefully we all have gorgeous feet!

Batiste Dry Shampoo x2

Full sized, and I'm impressed! I gave one to my sister as she loves dry shampoo, and especially because it was the XXL Volume edition, she was dying for it! Sometimes I like to use dry shampoo, even when I don't need it, just to give my hair a little bit of volume, so this will come in handy!

Lancome Renergie Morpholift Nuit R.A.R.E Night Cream

Yes. You're seeing this right. They threw in a Lancome Night Cream. And not just any night cream, this baby is worth over $100 in Myer! I could not believe my eyes! I'm wondering if this was supposed to be thrown into my hamper, or something put their lunchtime shopping in by mistake?! Either way, I'm thrilled! I've been looking out for a good eye cream lately, and it seems as though one has found its way to me instead!

So, what did you think of the Mystery Hamper? Do you think it was worth the money?

October Lust Have It!

As I'm sure you've all heard, Lust Have It! has been surrounded by a little bit of controversy recently. It seems their monthly boxes are coming later and later in the month, mine only arriving yesterday! A lot of people are dropping out of the subscription, but I'm going to stay with it, as I just love receiving subscriptions in the post, and sadly Australia only has two consistent ones at the moment! Us poor Aussies can't catch a break!

As always, I received the Fun and Flirty box this month. This month didn't come with the gorgeous colour bag like usual, but a little see through pink bag instead, in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

All of the goodies together.

Star & Rose White Bath Fizzer

I'll start with the positives. Firstly, I love bath fizzers. You can never go wrong with one! It also smells delicious, so I have a feeling it will be a very lovely bath time! Also, this is a full sized product, so no complaining there. Unfortunately, this has no tags or branding on it whatsoever, which means no ingredients, etc. A little bit disappointing, but for me, I think the good outweighs the bad in this case.

NYX Cosmetics Girls Nail Polish

Again, let's go with positives first. NYX is a pain to get in Australia, so that is definitely a plus. I've tried NYX polishes before and love them, so again I'm pleased! This is also another full sized product, a make-up product at that, so I'm happy. Sadly for me, I got a bit of a boring colour. Black. Plain old black! I would have liked a pretty pink or something along those lines, but I got black. Don't get me wrong, I love black, it just seemed a little boring!

Mask in a Cup Facial Mask

This is something I would have loved, if I didn't get the one meant for dry skin. When I signed up for Lust Have It, I signed up to say that I have oily/combination skin. Definitely not dry skin. I would have been a lot happier with the "normal skin" cup, which others received, for at least that would have been closer to my actual skin type. Sadly, this is a bust.

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Anti-Shine Regulating Lotion

Sadly, the card did not give a lot of description for the Avene products provided this month, so there will be some researched involved before I put this on my skin. I presume it's a moisturiser/lotion but I can never be too sure!

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Cream Exfoliant
I'm assuming from the name that this is an exfoliant. I'll be doing some research just to double check though, as names can sometimes be very cryptic, especially with Avene!

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Gel Cleanser

Like my friend Chelsea from Super Purdy mentioned in her post for this month's Lust Have It, the subscription box really does seem to have an ongoing love affair with Avene. At first I was super okay with it, not minding at all that I was getting something new every single month. But, now it's beginning to get a bit frustrating, as some of the time it's doubling up with Bellabox, and I'm getting two of the same anti-aging cleansers, which I don't really need. Either way, this seems to be a different range at least, so I'll be okay with trying it out!

Caron Waxaway Ready to Use Sensitive Wax Strips

Firstly, I'm happy they sent the sensitive ones! Better than everyone can try them and not just few of us who aren't sensitive. A few people have been unhappy that there were only four, which is fair. It is a bit silly to send only four, but I'm not fussed about it really. I'm happy to give them a go and see how the fare!

Coupons

Firstly a coupon for Harvest Box. Pretty happy with this, and very willing to give it a go! Probably something I'll use for work snacks from now on, instead of munching on chocolate!
Secondly, a customer appreciation for Adorn Mineral Cosmetics, for $15 to spend! Not sure why this is here, as we didn't get anything Adorn in this box, but okay! I'm not complaining!

So, overall, I feel this month's Lust Have It! was a bit of a disappointment. Like most ladies said, it seemed to be put together really quickly and without any thought (or any effort to actually read our profiles first) so this was disappointing. I've heard a lot of people will be unsubscribing, but I will be sticking with them for now, just to see how they end up. I feel that they could have done a lot more to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness month, but I'm not overly stressed about it.

Either way, I'm hoping they'll take on all the constructive critisism they have received due to the delay this month. I'm happy they've kept us in the loop, so I'm excited to see what they'll have in store next month, and see if they'll up their game a little bit!

So, what did you think of this month's Lust Have It? box?

End of Spending Ban Haul

I have well and truly failed! Judging by the above picture, a spending ban is just something I cannot do! Although I have learnt from this, that while I cannot go cold turkey, I have learnt to keep my spending to a minimum, only buying things I truly desire!

Although the above picture looks really, really awful (more like wonderful!) I did get majority of things on sale, some things were gifts, and a few things were just... things I needed. Plain and simple!

Basically that means I'm not allowing myself to the gorgeous Sigma Brush Set I promised I could have. That will have to wait! But, I have put myself on a spending limit!

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer

This was included in a gift with purchase when I purchased something for my sister's birthday for her birthday haul. The only reason my sister didn't get it was because she had this already!

Chi Chi Goes to Rio Brazilian Goddess Face Bronzer

This was on sale. Heavily reduced, in a Chi Chi Goes to Rio pack. The pack included this bronzer, an eye shadow palette and a mini kabuki brush. This was $5.00

Savvy by DB Mineral Baked Bronzer in Terracotta

This was purchased during a 3 for 2 sale in Priceline. I had purchased this and a blush for my sister's birthday haul, and decided to give a freebie to myself!

Lush Big Shampoo

As my hair has grown a lot longer, it has become flat. Somebody suggested Big to me, so I purchased it. This was after the ban had already failed!

Lush Jacko Ballistic

This was purchased because I'm sick and need something to relax!

Lush Sex Bomb Ballistic

This was given to me from my boyfriend! He was feeling generous because he loves me!

Formula 10.0.6 Keep Your Cool Breakout Calming Mask

This was purchased on sale, and because I have had a few breakouts this month that have been unexplained! This has cleared them right up though!

Montagne Jennesse Dark Chocolate Face Mask

This was purchased by my mother, as a gift to me!

The Face Shop Black Head Nose Clay Mask

This was also given to me by my mum, she loves the Face Shop and she knows I do too!

Kiss Nail Dress Halloween Limited Edition

Okay so I dropped the ball a little bit here! I initially bought these as a gift for somebody, but then found something better so I just kept them. Not good, I know!

Chi Chi Real Metallic Nail Strips in Pink Hearts
Chi Chi Real Metallic Nail Strips in Flower Lace

I couldn't resist! They were a new addition to the Chi Chi range at Target, and they were on sale! They're too cute!

Sleek MakeUP Blush by 3 in Pumpkin

This was purchased when I bought my sister some goodies from Sleek. It ended up coming too late to give her, so I just kept it for myself!

Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls Blush in Rose Pearl

I actually spent my Beauty Heaven points to get this for free, so no money spent here!
Savvy by DB Mineral Baked Blush in Blossom
Another 3 for 2 promotion where my mum bought something, so I got to choose the freebie!

Bourjois Paris Blush in Rose
Bourjois Paris Blush in Lilas
Bourjois Paris Blush in Brun

All of these were reduced from $20 to $4 at my local Target. I did nothing wrong!

Sleek Dip It Eyeliner in Pink

Again this was purchased in my haul for my sister. It was actually for me anyway, so, yes.

Covergirl Liquiline Blast in Black Fire

I got this a few days ago after seeing it on a few blogs!
Essence Get Big Lashes Mascara

This was a gift from my sister. She uses it religiously, so she decided I needed to as well!
Coastal Scents Divine Line in Lolite

This was on sale, in which I purchased a few goodies for myself and for my sister! I know, shame!

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transluscent

This is a requirment! I need the Stay Matte Powder!

Chi Chi Mini Kabuki Brush

As I mentioned above, this was in a set!
Coastal Scents Mini Pink Kabuki Brush

This was also on sale when I did my sister's Coastal Scents haul! I just couldn't resist, it's pink!

Australis Double Decker in Cosmic Rays

This was actually a gift with purchase on the Australis website! Any purchase and you receive a free Double Decker!

Bourjois Paris Eyeshadow Pot in 92

This was also reduced in my local Target down to $4 from $20!

Sally Hansen Cuticle Massage Cream

Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails Top Coat

Both of these came in a set that I purchased for my sister. The set came with doubles, so instead of giving her both I kept the other set!
Cutex Nail Whitener

Had to have this after Chelsea from Super Purdy told me about it! It does wonders!
Face of Australia Nail Polish Remover

This was a must have after my sister emptied my other bottle whilst living with me!

Sportsgirl Nail It! Polish in Phoenix
Sportsgirl Nail It! Polish in Electric Sunset
Sportsgirl Nail It! Polish in Tomato

All of these were reduced, but were a gift from my boyfriend when he was feeling particularly generous one shopping trip!

OPI Nail Lacquer in Die Another Day
OPI Nail Lacquer in The Living Daylights
OPI Nail Lacquer in Moonraker

This is the Skyfall collection, no explanation needed, thank you!

Chi Chi Salon Formula in Glitz Me Up

The colour was too unique to walk away from, and this was the last one left in my Target. I had to pick it up!

Australis Nail Enamel in Fairy Bread (Reviewed here.)

Limited edition. Enough said.

Rimmel London I Love Lasting Finish Polish in Jade

This was part of a gift with purchase.

Ulta3 Nail Color in Twinkle Toes

My mum actually got this one for my. Whenever she visits, she always buys my sister and I Ulta3 polishes as they are so cheap! Happy daughters!

Chi Chi Salon Formula in Pussy Galore

The colour + on sale + the name = awesomeness.

Face of Australia Pastels Collection

Reviewed here!

Again, limited edition. Enough said!

Chi Chi Eye Shadow Quad in Lady Entrepreneu

Chi Chi Mosaic Blush in Pink Peach

Both babies were on sale and were the last of each in my Target! How could I walk away from that?

Chi Chi Goes to Rio Colour Palette

Again, like I said earlier, this was part of the Goes to Rio kit that was only $5.

Coastal Scents 10 Blush Palette

I had to get this as part of my sister's Coastal Scents haul! It was a must-have!

Australis Ready 2 Mingle Kit

I'm almost sure this is limited edition, but I can't say 100% that it is.

Napoleon Perdis Set Jetset Palette

On sale. Last one. Needed to have it!

Bobbi Brown Eyes

Bobbi Brown Desert Twilight Eye Palette

Bobbi Brown Eyes was purchased from a discount website, which means it was not going to be waiting for my ban to finish. It would have been gone.
Twilight Palette was something Sophia from Tattooed Tea Lady was lovely enough to send me, which is limited edition!

Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick in Heartbreaker
Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick in Firecracker
Rimmel London Moisture Renew lipstick in Fancy

Deal of the Day at Target meant that Rimmel London was 60% off. Um, what would you have done?

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Crimson

Found this in the bargain bin at my local Target for $3. Yeah.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart

2 for 1 deal at Target, I wanted to treat myself while buying the other lip butter for my sister!

Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Make a Wish (Reviewed here.)
Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Lick the Icing (Reviewed here.)

Limited edition, not passing them up!

Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Salsa

A gift from my boyfriend! Another generous shopping day!

Face of Australia Lip Quench in Lychee Crush
Face of Australia Lip Quench in Pink Champagne

Had to have these as they were on sale in Priceline, but also because they are amazing.

Ulta 3 Lipstick in Onyx
Ulta 3 Lipstick in Coral Reef

Both gifts from my mum. We found a place nearby that sells Ulta3 cosmetics, so she treated me!

Sleek Pout Paint in Milkshake

Purchased for my sister but arrived too late, so now it's mine!

Lush Emotional Brilliance in Believe

I had to buy SOMETHING during a blogger meetup!

So there you have it, my epic failure of a spending ban. To be honest though, majority of the items purchased by me were done after I decided I wouldn't continue with the ban. I don't want to calculate the amount that all comes to, but to be fair, this was done over a period of a few months! Like I said, a lot of the stuff was gifts either from my boyfriend, my mum or my sister!

Well, I hope you're all drooling over my haul! I know I am, since I haven't used a lot of the items yet, out of sheer guilt! But let me know if you'd like to see an in-depth review on anything here, and I'll be more than happy to crack it open for you and have a go!

Otherwise, I hope you enjoyed this haul! Please don't judge me!

Australis Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Collection

Although this has been released for a little while already, I really wanted to share with you the Australis 25th Anniversary Limited Edition collection!

These were tough to find in store due to their popularity (you'll see exactly why in a moment!) and I actually resorted to the Australis website! Needless to say the shipped extremely quickly, so I would definitely recommend the website!

Glitter Top Coat Nail Enamel in Fairy Bread

This particular polish was very difficult to find, every store I checked had been sold out! I decided to buy this from the Australis website, which thankfully had it in stock and ready to ship!

Fairy Bread is the perfect glitter top coat! The pieces of glitter come in a vast range of colours and sizes, making the end result look somewhat like confetti - or fairy bread!

One of the pluses of Fairy Bread is that the glitter is not at all sparse, and you get a good load of it every time you dip your brush! The glitter to polish ratio is very generous! In saying this, it does not leave a rough feel on the nail afterwards either, but dries very flat and smooth!

As with most glitter polishes, it is extremely difficult to remove, however I did find that it is very long lasting and did not chip whatsoever!

Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Lick the Icing and Make a Wish
Australis also released two gorgeous pink shades of lipstick from their Colour Inject range! Both of these were hard to find! I was lucky enough to find Make a Wish in stores, however Lick the Icing was nowhere to be found, so I purchased online for this as well.

Lick the Icing and Make a Wish

Both lipsticks were very nourishing and did not dry out my lips at all. The colours are long lasting and not sheer in the slightest! Both colours were very rich and bold!

Swatched - Lick the Icing

Lick the Icing is not for the faint hearted! As you can see it's a frosty ice pink, which is very bright on my lips! I will say that this lipstick is not for everyone, but for those of you who love bright colours, this is for you!
I actually adore these cute colours, and so this is perfect for me!

This one is a little tricky with application, as you can see on my lips you will probably need a matching lip liner!

Swatched - Make a Wish

Make a Wish is bordering on red, but is a gorgeous deep red pink. I absolutely love the look of this on my lips, and I think this one is more suited to different styles. This one is bold too, so for those of you who like something nude or plain, maybe search elsewhere! But for those who love a bit of colour, this one is for you! It's definitely a head-turner!

So there you have it, those are the gorgeous additions to the Australis Limited Edition range in honour of their 25th anniversary! I believe they have added another nail polish to the collection, and there are a few other Summer limited edition lipsticks and nail polishes out, so I will have to collect them all next to show you!

What did you think of this collection? Do you think it goes well with the birthday theme?

This was also reduced in my local Target down to $4 from $20!

Sally Hansen Cuticle Massage Cream

Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails Top Coat

Both of these came in a set that I purchased for my sister. The set came with doubles, so instead of giving her both I kept the other set!

Had to have this after Chelsea from Super Purdy told me about it! It does wonders!
Face of Australia Nail Polish Remover

This was a must have after my sister emptied my other bottle whilst living with me!

The colour + on sale + the name = awesomeness.

Face of Australia Pastels Collection

Reviewed here!

Again, limited edition. Enough said!

I had to get this as part of my sister's Coastal Scents haul! It was a must-have!

I'm almost sure this is limited edition, but I can't say 100% that it is.

Napoleon Perdis Set Jetset Palette

On sale. Last one. Needed to have it!

Bobbi Brown Eyes

Bobbi Brown Desert Twilight Eye Palette

Bobbi Brown Eyes was purchased from a discount website, which means it was not going to be waiting for my ban to finish. It would have been gone.
Twilight Palette was something Sophia from Tattooed Tea Lady was lovely enough to send me, which is limited edition!

Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick in Heartbreaker
Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick in Firecracker
Rimmel London Moisture Renew lipstick in Fancy

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Crimson

Found this in the bargain bin at my local Target for $3. Yeah.
