The Jojoba Company Starter Pack *

With Mother's Day (and my mums birthday) just around the corner, I've been on the look-out for the perfect gift. Sadly for me, my mum is not huge on beauty products - which is a great tragedy for me as I love buying them. So most of the time when I do buy her gifts, I try to incorporate something beauty related that I know she'll like. When the Jojoba Company Starter Pack was sent to me, I realised just how perfect this would be!

The Jojoba Company Starter Pack is filled with sample sizes of some of their best products, which is the perfect introduction to the brand! Being that the Jojoba Company is a strongly natural company with no animal testing and free of nasties, I figure this would be something that my mum, and any other mum, would enjoy using!

The set comes with a great selection of samples.

From left to right: Jojoba Absolute Serum, Jojoba Bead Facial Cleanser, 100% Natural Makeup Remover, 100% Natural Australian Jojoba, Hydrating Day Cream, Intense Overnight Renewal Cream,. CoQ10 Antioxidant Serum

This is an absolute amazing selection of products, with some really generous sample sizes. There's a little bit of everything in here, and it's suitable for all skin-types. The back of the box gives you an entire run-down of each product, with a description and a how-to, so if you have no idea what Jojoba even is, it's easy enough to find out! (And just in case you aren't sure what Jojoba is, or why it's good for our skin, have a read here!)

I've had a quick try of all the products (not enough to give you any solid reviews just yet) but my initial thoughts and feelings about the products were all positive! None made me break-out or had me wrinkling my nose at a bad smell, (I know this can sometimes happen with natural products!) and all felt really nice on my skin.

The box also gives you detailed instructions on how to use the products in a daily regime, which I think is great, because fairly often I'll get a pack like this and have no idea where I'm supposed to use what! What goes first, should I use the moisturiser directly after the serum or is it the other way around? (I know that may sound like a silly question to some beauty buffs, but some of us honestly have no idea, so it's great to get a little more information on the products before testing them out!) I've shared the regime with you just so you can get an idea at how detailed the box is. Some people can dismiss products as being awful when they haven't worked properly, purely because they haven't incorporated it at the right spot and it's not working the way it's supposed to be working!

--

I think that this box is definitely great value, with a lot of variety of products to try out! I know that my mum would like testing this out (especially after I make her read up on Jojoba) but sadly she's missing out, as I'm keeping this set all to myself! (I might be nice and head online to order her one now though...)

So if you're still on the hunt for a Mother's Day gift, or you're interested in testing out Jojoba Company products but have no idea to start, I'd definitely recommend this set! At only $59.95, it is definitely a steal, as some of their full sized products can cost up to that amount! The sample sizes are fairly generous, so it's a great price. You can find out more information about this set here.

After testing out the products in this set, I'm definitely interested in trying out more, and am considering buying a few full sized products myself (at least until the samples run out!) so I'll be sure to let you know my thoughts on individual products as I use them!

Have you tried the Jojoba Company before? If so, what did you think?

  1. I actually never heard of this brand before but it sounds interesting! From your pictures, the size definitely look to be very generous with the product. What I really like is the packaging though, it's cute! Such a shame my mom doesn't use beauty products either. She just uses water to clean and top off with cream. :/

Thought I'd better not try anything new skincare wise though, my skin hasn't been too happy with the weather change lately so I don't want to aggravate it!
