The Beauty Show Blogger Event

On Sunday, I was one of the very lucky beauty bloggers invited to take part in a blogger event for The Beauty Show! For those of you who have been following their news, they were due to open this year in early September, but sadly have had to postpone until next year. No matter as I'm happy to wait for quality!

The Beauty Show Blogger Event was a fairly intimate day, organised by the beautiful Anita, to chat about all things beauty and what The Beauty Show meant to her; and why it was created! It was so good having an insight into the ideas behind The Beauty Show! It's all about celebrating beauty - inner and outer - and all forms of beauty! It was

The event was held at the beautiful Madam Brussels bar/restaurant in Melbourne, where we were served fondue, cupcakes and cheese plates by some hunky man-candy! I've posted some pictures of all the gorgeous ladies that were involved with the Blogger Event, so enjoy our beauty!

Claire, Sue, Karla, Nalini, Kerri, Julia, Evelyn, Melissa, Me, Chloe, Anita, Norlin

This was all of us, minus Chloe Morello's mum! She was sweet enough to take the picture for us! As mentioned earlier, the event was very intimate with a lot of wonderful bloggers - some just starting out and some fully established bloggers! It was a fantastic group of ladies!

Me and Chloe Morello

I was absolutely stoked to meet the amazing Chloe Morello! As a fellow Australian beauty blogger, she is somewhat of an idol to me! It was pretty inspiring to get up close and personal with Chloe, who told us her story on how she became so famous in what she does! She's also so nice!

Julia from Mary Kay and Anita from The Beauty Show

We were lucky enough to be graced with the presence of Julia, from Mary Kay! She was such a gorgeous person, and it was very exciting to hear that Mary Kay is now available online to us Aussies! I've never tried Mary Kay before but have always wanted to - it's great to know I can now buy online! She also talked a lot about the brand and where it's headed, so this was a great insight!

And of course the beautiful Anita, who organised everything! She was so friendly and chatty, and gave off the feeling that you've known her forever! She was so easy to talk to!

We also got a few freebies! I got a case of beautiful stationary cards from MOR and a gorgeous soapette! I'm a huge fan of MOR products already so both of these will get used!

BS11

The lovely people from Nude by Nature also chipped in and gifted us each with a Nude by Nature Complexion Start Up Kit! Anita made sure we all got the right shade, too, which was an extra special touch! I love Nude by Nature products so these will most definitely get used!

BS12

Julia from Mary Kay also made sure we didn't leave empty handed, and gifted us each with an amazing set of Mary Kay products, including a bunch of different products! I really can't wait to try them out, and I'm so excited to try everything!

Overall it was a fantastic event! A big thank you to Anita for making it all happen, Julia for talking to us about Mary Kay (and letting us test out their products, too) and of course Nude by Nature and MOR for giving us a few goodies to play with!

If you haven't heard about The Beauty Show yet, be sure to check out their website! I'm really looking forward to when they do launch!

Have you heard about The Beauty Show? If so, what do you think? Have you tried Mary Kay before? What are your thoughts?
