Marc Jacobs Honey *

HON1

There's something oh so special about receiving a new fragrance. Whether you buy it yourself or you receive it as a gift, it's always a little bit exciting! So when Marc Jacobs Honey arrived on my doorstep, I was more than thrilled!

HON2

Any fragrance by Marc Jacobs is destined to have an absolutely stunning bottle, and Honey is definitely no exception! The gorgeous round, polka dot bottle paired with the adorably chic gold and black butterflies makes this perfume bottle a winner in my books!

Honey has been described as "the perfect mix of brightness and warmth" on the Marc Jacobs website, and I have to agree! The scent is deliciously sweet with a twist; it's not a sickly floral sweet, but a smoother sweet - like honey! It's energising and perfection for summer, and definitely gets heads turning, and noses sniffing!

Top notes include mandarin and pear, while mid notes include orange blossom, peach nectar, apricot and honey suckle; and base notes are honey, golden vanilla and smooth woods.

For me, Marc Jacobs Honey is one of my most reached for fragrances these days. With warmer days creeping their way into our calendar, I'm feeling the need for a more uplifting and bright scent; something light and fruity without being candy sweet. Honey is just what I need for summer!

I find that the scent lasts very long on my skin, and holds up well against hairspray and other scented goodies I'm using when I get ready. All in all, another winner from Marc Jacobs!

Have you tried Marc Jacobs Honey yet? If so, what did you think?
