October Her Fashion Box

hfb1

My subscription box reviews have been a little late this month again, so don't hate me! I was lucky enough not to see any spoilers for Her Fashion Box this month, so I was pretty excited to receive the October box!

October Lust Have It!

LHI1

Unlike last month, I am very much up to date with my subscription box posts! This month Lust Have It! introduces it's new look boxes, and I must say it's super cute! I absolutely love their collectable boxes, and use them to store heaps of things! (Primarily samples, if I'm going to be honest!)

LHI2

This month's cover of Lustre magazine on the back of the information card! This edition is all about Spring Racing, so definitely worth a read!

Halloween Swap Goodies!

A little while ago I put out the word for a Halloween Swap. I had a fair few people take part, and I got paired up with the gorgeous Robyn, who runs Want Buy Blog! Robyn is based in the UK (and she just happens to work for Bare Minerals - score!) so I knew I'd be getting some pretty awesome goodies!

She emailed me before she sent everything off and warned me that she included a fair amount of samples and discounted products she was able to get from her friends! As usual with swaps, we were both feeling a little anxiety! (Oh no, did I buy her too much or not enough!)

S9

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how adorable this wrapping is! I wish that Australia was more into Halloween, so I could have made more of an effort with wrapping and design!

Not A Sponge In The Raw - Face *

NAS1

A little while ago I was asked if I wanted to try Not A Sponge, which is in a nutshell - a sponge. Okay, so it's not really a sponge. The Not A Sponge is made of the Konjac vegetable (I'm sure you've heard of the Konjac sponge before?) which means it's basically a 100% natural piece of vegetable, carved into the shape of a sponge, to use on your face.

NAS2

That's right, you use this vegetable on your face. When I first received the package, I'll admit I was a little bit squeamish about it. I'm not sure why, but the fact that it was "natural" and not something man made had me feeling a bit weird - was it alive, would it move if I poked it?

Spring Lust Have It! Eco Box

LHI1

I was actually surprised to see the Spring Eco Box on my doorstep a few days ago, as I could have sworn to myself that I unsubscribed! (Unwillingly, believe me!) I suppose I must not have gone ahead with it, and decided to pinch my pennies some other way, so here we are!

LHI3

Always love the design of the cards! The Spring one is particularly cute!

Seraphina Organics + GIVEAWAY! *

S1

A little while ago, I was contacted by a lovely company called Seraphina Organics. I was instantly intrigued, as Seraphina Organics is a range of luxe, organic skincare made right here in Australia! I was super impressed when I heard that this range was actually created by an Aussie mum of two who suffered from eczema and skin irritations, yet found nothing to help her conditions! This hits close to the heart for me, as for those of you who don't know, my boyfriend suffers from terrible eczema on his hands and it is fairly frustrating for him, so I'm always on the lookout for new products that might help!

Before I talk about each product individually, can I just say how absolutely beautiful these products look? The packaging is just to die for!

October Bellabox

BB1

It's that time of the month again; and surprisingly Bellabox was my first subscription box to arrive! This month marks Bellabox's 2 year anniversary - that's right, they've been around two whole years!

BB2

To celebrate their 2nd birthday, Bellabox has teamed up with the fashionistas from TheyAllHateUs. After last month's crazy amazing box, (read about it here) I wasn't expecting too much to be honest.

I also noticed that the box was actually missing. While most people are alright with this, it has actually annoyed me. When I received my box, it was all open at the sides (due to shipping) and there was a possibility that the products may have fallen out, as they were only wrapped in bubble wrap. Please bring back the box, Bellabox, or at least some more secure packaging!

Karadium Lip Tint Sticks *

KD1

Recently, I became a tester for Cosmetic Love; and my first products to test are the very gorgeous Karadium Lip Tint Sticks from Korea! I'm a huge fan of Asian cosmetics, but don't own a lot myself, so this will definitely help to broaden my horizons.

The Karadium Lip Tint Sticks are very much like other lip products on the Western market these days, a good example of that being the Revlon Lip Stains. I received three colours to review; Lilac Pink, Apple Green and Orange.

KD2

Firstly, the packaging is just gorgeous. I have to say that cosmetics from Asia blow the Western designs away! The ultra cute designs of these babies make it all the more nicer to whip them out and apply in public; and much nicer to keep stored on my dresser!

September FaB Box

FAB1

Last week I received my September FaB Box - launched by Lust Have It! this month! It's been an exciting time for subscription boxes in Australia lately, especially with so many new box launches, and I just couldn't help but sign up to all of them! The FaB Box is heading the way of Her Fashion Box; it stands for Fashion and Beauty, so it incorporates accessories and beauty products.

The launch edition of the FaB Box features the Lustre magazine cover for this month!

I picked up The Savvy Colour Care Collection box a few weeks ago, but have only just had time to get excited about it!

Schick Intuition Razor *

S1

I recently ventured from my usual razor a few months ago to try out the Schick Hydro Silk Razor (which you can read about here) and since then, I've had the opportunity to try a few other razors - and why not! The one I'm talking to you about today is the Schick Intuition Razor

The Schick Intuition might seem like a little bit of a gimmick at first. It's designed so that there is already soap surrounding the razor, making the experience of shaving a lot quicker by not having to lather up first!

S2

While gimmicky, I really do like the idea of this. My shower at home is huge, which means I have no problem shaving - but when I'm using a smaller shower, it can become frustrating trying to keep the soap from washing off because you get to shave!

My RY.com.au Shopping Experience *

1

(Image from RY.com.au)

A little while ago I was invited to pick up a few goodies from the Aussie website RY for review. As I'm always on the lookout for websites that are Australian based, I wanted to share with you all my experiences with ordering from them, as I have since made another order with them!

A little bit about RY before I get into the nitty gritty details! RY stands for Recreate Yourself, which is a perfect statement to make for a website who specialises in beauty! RY are helping to close the price difference gap here in Australia by offering super competitive prices on products that are usually frustratingly expensive!

ry3

I made my order on Wednesday afternoon, and the package arrived on Thursday! Now that's service! RY offers free shipping on all orders over $99, but shipping for anything under that price is a reasonable $6.95. They also offer express shipping - not that I needed it!

The packaging was also really secure, this box was filled to the brim with packing peanuts, and the items were individually wrapped up in paper to ensure they remained safe during transit! I was impressed!

September Lust Have It!

LHI1

I've been a little late with my subscription box reviews lately, as they all seemed to arrive together, and I really don't like doing one review after another so I tried my best to space them out! The September Lust Have It! box made it to lucky last - and here we are with the review!

I noticed they are still using up some of the old boxes, which is making me even more excited to see what the new packaging is going to look like!

Bioré Blemish Clearing Scrub *

Bi1

I've always been a huge fan of Bioré products - and although I was a little big sad when they discontinued a few of their products a while back, I was more excited about the possibility of brand new products being released! The Bioré Blemish Clearing Scrub is one of those new products - and the fact that it's a scrub really has me excited!

Bi2

Bioré boasts that their new acne fighting scrub is perfect to help keep your skin clear, while also keeping it hydrated and refreshed! With summer just around the corner here in Australia, that's a big claim to make!

Firstly, the scent is absolutely amazing. The collaboration of mint and mandarin - a seemingly bizarre mix - create a beautifully zesty scent that is a real wake-up call! Having such a vibrant scent, this scrub is perfect to use first thing in the morning to get you and your skin awake!
