Karadium Lip Tint Sticks *

KD1

Recently, I became a tester for Cosmetic Love; and my first products to test are the very gorgeous Karadium Lip Tint Sticks from Korea! I'm a huge fan of Asian cosmetics, but don't own a lot myself, so this will definitely help to broaden my horizons.

The Karadium Lip Tint Sticks are very much like other lip products on the Western market these days, a good example of that being the Revlon Lip Stains. I received three colours to review; Lilac Pink, Apple Green and Orange.

Firstly, the packaging is just gorgeous. I have to say that cosmetics from Asia blow the Western designs away! The ultra cute designs of these babies make it all the more nicer to whip them out and apply in public; and much nicer to keep stored on my dresser!

Lilac Pink

Due to my experience with Western lip balms, I figured that the colour would be fairly mild. However, much to my excitement, the colour pay off was pretty good, and very buildable! Lilac Pink was actually my favourite colour to wear!

KD4

Apple Green

I find the colour changing lip products very exciting, as you never know what you're going to get! I was secretly hoping this would actually transfer to my lips as green, but knew better of Asian cosmetics! This transfers across as a gorgeous light pink, which is oh so becoming! This is really buildable as well!

KD5

Orange

While the name may not say a lot, the colour definitely spoke to me! For those of you who don't already know, orange is my absolute favourite colour to wear on my lips! As expected, this wasn't overly bright but could be built up to be a fairly gorgeous peachy orange. This one is very easy to wear.

Lilac Pink, Apple Green, Orange

Arm swatches, one swipe. The colour pay off is fairly decent for just one swipe, and gives a beautiful wash of colour on the lips.

KLIP1

No Product, Lilac Pink, Apple Green, Orange

Lip swatches, three swipes each. As I wrote earlier, these colours are all buildable and create a gorgeous colour on the lips! The finish is fairly glossy and shiny, almost as if I'm wearing lip gloss. I also found that these were extremely moisturising - far surpassing the moisturising effects of their Revlon counterparts! My lips remained soft and supple for the rest of the day, and the colour remained for the most part, even after eating and drinking. (Although reapplying was necessary to keep up the same opacity.)

Overall, I really love the Karadium Lip Tint Sticks. Even though they are a Korean brand, I'll definitely be on the look out from more of this brand when I visit Japan - hopefully I can find some Korean stores who stock them!
