Schick Intuition Razor *

S1

I recently ventured from my usual razor a few months ago to try out the Schick Hydro Silk Razor (which you can read about here) and since then, I've had the opportunity to try a few other razors - and why not! The one I'm talking to you about today is the Schick Intuition Razor

The Schick Intuition might seem like a little bit of a gimmick at first. It's designed so that there is already soap surrounding the razor, making the experience of shaving a lot quicker by not having to lather up first!

S2

While gimmicky, I really do like the idea of this. My shower at home is huge, which means I have no problem shaving - but when I'm using a smaller shower, it can become frustrating trying to keep the soap from washing off because you get to shave!

S3

The Schick Intuition Razor has four blades for a close shave, meaning it's already a decent razor without the soap. The soap itself is shaped like the razor, making it easy to shave with and not as awkward as you might think! The soap smells delicious and contains coconut milk and almond oil - so the soap is also surprisingly lovely.

S4

The pack comes with the body and razor, a replacement head with soap, a lid to keep the soap from getting wet, and a wall holder to keep your razor out of the shower stream! I love that it included two razor heads, so when the soap runs out of the first one, you already have a replacement at home!

S5

The razor is a little awkward to hold at first, being a bit bigger than what I'm used to, but eventually you learn to live with it. The razor itself does give an incredibly close shave, and I had no problems with missed spots or left over hairs - it got it all! I actually really liked the soap, too. It left my skin feeling really soft and moisturised, so I was pretty impressed with it! (Better than some soaps out there on the market!)

I found that the soap itself lasted about ten shaves, and probably would have lasted longer if I could rinse the blades themselves without having to run the entire soap in water - thus wasting it. Eventually the soap just fell off, so I still used it for a little bit before switching to my usual soap. The razor is a bit frustrating to use without the soap, so I probably wouldn't bother again - I'd just change the razor heads for comfort. (But it can be used without, it's just not my cup of tea!)

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the Schick Intuition Razor! While it isn't something I'd initially pick up for myself, I'm definitely happy I tried it, as this is the perfect thing to take on holidays! The soap was so gentle on my skin, and definitely not what I was expecting, which was a delightful surprise!

I would definitely recommend the Schick Intuition Razor, especially for trips away (or small showers) and would definitely repurchase!

The Schick Intuition Razor costs $12.69 for the razor set with the replacement head, while the refill pack which includes three heads costs $13.49.

Have you tried the Schick Intuition Razor yet? If so, what did you think?
