November Violet Box

VB1

It seems like all my subscription boxes have all begun to arrive at the same time, but this month the first to arrive was the November Violet Box! Only being a new box, they seem to be doing really well in delivering some pretty great products, so I'm always looking forward to them!

VB2

All the goodies this month!

VB3

Body Armour Body Lotion

Always loving a full sized product, and this is actually a body lotion I've heard a bit of hype about! As far as I can see it has natural products and smells fairly lovely. This is fairly expensive at $32 for just 150ml; but if it's good I'm willing to pay for it!

VB4

Tailor Skincare Masque Detoxing Facial Treatment

I absolutely love masks (or, masques) so I can't wait to try this! It seems to be a fairly generous sample, so I'm pretty pleased with that. I adore the packaging, it's simple but really stands out amongst other brands I've tried! As it's detoxifying I'll probably leave this for after my trip, as I'm sure I'll need it! A pack of 10 will set you back $40, but I find that the price is acceptable for that amount of product!

VB5

Model Co Cheek Powder Blush in Amaretto Sunset

I usually groan at the sight of Model Co, but I'm happy to see something different included. (I'm actually fairly certain almost all of the subscription boxes this month had something Model Co included. Go figure.) This blush has a nifty little mirror - like all other Model Co products - that's underneath so it's pretty handy for out and about. The colour is really nice, so it won't go unused!

VB6

Model Co Colour Box Eye Pencil in Black

Another Model Co product, but nobody can complain about black eyeliner. (Unless you have about 50 of them - which I am guilty of - but am still not complaining!) I'm never too sure about the eyeliners with the sharpener at the end, as it leaves the product open to the air and it can dry out. But, oh well. Good for travelling I suppose!

VB7

Guess Night & Guess Girl

I love perfume samples, but hate them in sachets. We received the Guess Night cologne for the man in our life, which comes in a mini vial, and we received the Guess Girl Belle for us ladies, which comes in a sachet. I don't know about the rest of you, but when I give my boyfriend a sample sachet to try, he rips it open and uses it all at once, no matter how huge it is. I can't really imagine my boyfriend using one of these little vials, so I wish they had done it backwards! Either way, I'm sure he'll enjoy the surprise!

I'm pretty happy with this month's Violet Box, although next month's will be my last. My New Years Resolution will be to give up subscription boxes in a vain attempt to save up for more holidays (where I can buy more makeup!) but will still keep my favourites, Lust Have It! as I have a yearly subscription, and Her Fashion Box because I feel like it's worth the money, and I'm always getting something I want!

Violet Box costs $22.95 per month, and you can sign up here.

Have you received your Violet Box yet? If so, what did you think? Did you like this month's selection of products?
