October Violet Box

VB1

I'm so late with my subscription box posts this month - I've had such a busy month with so many social events and getting ready for my overseas trip to Tokyo in December! How exciting! I've finally gotten around to taking some snaps of the October Violet Box, a box which seems to have a lot of bloggers raving!

VB2

The usual card design! Never changes, but it's simple and pretty so I'm not complaining!

VB3

The goodies this month!

VB4

John Plunkett Cosmeceuticals Super Wrinkle Cream

I've actually been on the lookout for a wrinkle cream, so this works out good. I've heard good things about this one, and a 20ml sample size for wrinkle cream is pretty decent!

VB5

Oxyplex Loose Complexion Powder in Almond

This is a full sized product, so I'm really happy to see this included! Although the colour seems a bit dark for me, I will still attempt to use it as maybe even a contouring colour! This usually has a fairly hefty pricetag at a whopping $60!

VB6

Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow in Money Money
I'm so excited to see this brand included in an Australian beauty box! I've received a few of the Be A Bombshell products before, all from Lip Factory, but this product is new! When I saw it was called "Money Money" I was expecting a fairly bright gold colour, but was pleasantly surprised to this deep olive old gold looking colour instead - far more workable!

VB7

Savoir Faire Cosmetics Lipgloss in Darling Vanilla

I'll admit that I was a little disappointed to receive this colour, as some of the other lipgloss colours floating around are absolutely gorgeous! In saying that, I've realised that I have very few clear lipglosses so I think this will go down well. I was fairly impressed with the Savoir Faire Palette I received in last year's December Bellabox (see the full post here) so I hope this will be just as good!

VB8

Apivita Express Beauty Face Masks with Red Wine x2

These mini sachets of face masks are intriguing! I have seem them more than a few times in Priceline, and have always been tempted, but for some reason I've never picked them up! I love the idea of red wine, so I can't wait to test these babies out!

--

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the October Violet Box! I love that it was mostly makeup this time around instead of skincare, so that's always exciting! It's really nice to see beauty boxes upping their game!

Violet Box costs $22.95 a month and you can sign up here.

Have you received your October Violet Box? If so, what did you think? Have you tried any of these products before? What are your thoughts?
