Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Antibacterial Bar *

CET1

A little while ago, I was sent the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Antibacterial Bar to test out. I managed to finish it off before reviewing it and it was featured in my November Empties! (You can read my empties here.) Usually I'm not a big fan of soap bars. I have tried a few before, but usually I drift towards liquid soaps, so this was a bit of a change for me!

What I was really looking forward to from this soap was how it would go on my sensitive skin. Cetaphil promises this to be a gentle bar, so I was also excited to see how it would go on my boyfriend's super sensitive skin as well! The best part about this, however, was that it's actually soap free, which makes it a lot nicer to skin!

I also love that this is sensitive enough for both body and face. I myself wouldn't use it on my face, only because I have a very delicate skincare routine. However this is perfect for my boyfriend, as he rarely washes his face properly, so this makes it a lot easier for him! After using it for a while, I did notice a slight difference in that his facial skin certainly wasn't breaking out as much as usual, so with prolonged use I think this could really be helpful in treating acne!

CET4

The bar itself was pretty generously sized, and it lasted the both of us for a little over a month. I found this to be really gentle on my skin, and it didn't dry out my skin at all! My boyfriend also found it to be really gentle on his dry and sensitive skin. Usually I find bars fairly annoying to use when they get to the end, but I found this useful right up until it just disappeared into my hands, so I was pretty happy with that! (You know when you get to the very end of the bar of soap and it feels like it's just not doing anything anymore? Yeah, I didn't get that!)

Overall, I really enjoyed the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Antibacterial Bar! I would definitely get this again, especially for travel since it's so small and there would be no leakage problems, and it's something that both my boyfriend and I can use! (He finds problems with a lot of my body washes, as they tend to aggravate his skin!) I did find the scent of this to be really neutral, so don't expect any amazing fragrances here - I would be worried if I did!

All in all, a good cleansing bar for both face and body, and excellent for the whole family, even the fussy family members! The Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Antibacterial Bar costs around $9.

Have you tried the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Antibacterial Bar yet? If so, what are your thoughts?
