Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush

MM1

A little while ago, I was doing a giant shop in Priceline and was standing in line just about to get served, when I spotted the lady behind me with the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush in her hands. I had to do a double take, as I had no idea that this was available in Australia yet, let alone in Priceline, so I rushed out of the very long queue and went off in search of this beauty!

For those of you who don't know, the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush is a Tangle Teezer dupe. (I'm unsure of which product was actually first on the market, but as the Tangle Teezer seems to be a bit more popular, I'll just say that it's a dupe!) However, the difference between the two is that the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush has a handle, to make life a lot easier, and also has different levels for different hair types - again, making life a bit easier!

I actually didn't know they were colour coded based on hair type, so I ended up with the pink one because I thought it was cuter. Luckily the pink brush is meant for fine hair, which is exactly what I have, so it worked out for the best!

A little run down on what Michel was thinking when he created the brush!

MM4

The brush in all it's glory! I actually like the design a lot better than the Tangle Teezer, only because it has a handle! I haven't actually tried the Tangle Teezer before, so I can't compare too much, but I think the handle is definitely a selling point for me!

MM5

The brush is super soft, and if you look closely you can see the bristles have different heights to help with the pressure that's put on your hair when you brush!

I have a bit of a problem that whenever I wash my hair, just one small part of my hair gets crazy tangled! It drives me crazy! Whenever I try to brush it out when my hair is wet, it hurts! If I leave it, and dry it like that, it goes all frizzy and still hurts when I brush it out! So when I picked up the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush, I had really high hopes! After using it for the very first time, I was completely in love!

The brush was so easy to use, and would really glide through my tangles! Brushing my wet hair out took a lot less time, and was completely painless!

--

I would definitely recommend the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush for anyone who struggles with tangled hair, or anyone who just wants a hair brush that feels nice in general! This has really helped reduce the amount of hair that breaks or falls out during the styling process, as well!

You can buy the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush for $19.95 from Priceline, here.
