Tokyo Makeup Haul 2013

H1

I know this post is super late, but I hope you guys will forgive me! I did a fair amount of shopping during my trip to Tokyo (which you can read about here) and most of it didn't even fit inside my suitcase! Luckily, my boyfriend stashed a few of my goodies in his for me!

I know I've shown you a few hauls already in the past few posts, so I'm sorry! Also I'm sorry but this is a bit of a long post - you've been warned!

H2

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fix

I've heard that BB creams in Asia are amazing, and somehow I've never tried them before! When I walked into Etude House (which was conveniently located 5 minutes from my hotel, score!) I noticed this, tried it, and walked out with it. Perfect match for my skin and the coverage seemed far better! I can't wait to give this a full review on my blog at some point!

H3

Etude House Baby Choux Base Sweet Recipe in Berry Choux

This is basically a base product as well, but with a hint of colour to help correct your skin tone. I was really impressed with this, but couldn't decide between the two colours available so I ended up with this one, which seemed to work better on my hand at least!

H4

Etude House Sheet Facial Masks in Zucchini, Pomegranate and Noni

These came in a surprise back with one other, which I gave to my sister for Christmas! I'll be very interested to see how these go!

H5

Maybelline Baby Skin Bright Pink Fair Skin

I'd heard of the Maybelline Baby Skin before from the US, but had no idea it had hit shelves across Asia. I hadn't even heard of the Bright Pink variation of this, which is set to help those with really fair skin who suffer from pinkness. I really liked the look of this one, so I decided to try it. It was really inexpensive compared to Australia (but not as cheap as the US) but unfortunately I cannot remember any prices!

H6

Maybelline Baby Skin

Despite already getting the pink version, I figured I'd tried the original version out as well. On my hand, it was very much like Benefit's Porefessional, but we'll see how it matches up on my face!

H7

Etude House Black Charcoal Chin Pack & Collagen Eye Patch

I picked these up as a bit of an impulse! I just thought they looked cute, and you can never have too many masks!

H8

Etude House Look At Me Eyes Cafe Eyeshadows

I'm not usually one to buy single eyeshadows, as I always tend to want to use palettes instead. But with these gorgeous things, I just couldn't resist! The colours were all so stunning, it was hard to narrow it down to just three! I'll definitely be buying more when I go again!
H9

Canmake Strong Eyes Liner in Super Black

I love my black eyeliner, particularly my liquid eyeliner, so I thought I'd give Canmake a go!

H10

Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks

Japanese cosmetics are so cute, aren't they! The design on this blush is just adorable, and the colours mix really well together!
H11

Etude House Dolly 3 Step Eyes in Charming Doll

When I first visited Etude House, there were heaps of different palettes, but for some reason I decided not to pick any up. On my final trip, I noticed they were practically all sold out, so I grabbed what I could! These are the same eyeshadows as the single versions, and they are just as gorgeous!
H12

This is such a gorgeous palette, I can't wait to use it!
H13

Canmake Four Shiny Eyes

I decided to pick this up last minute from a drug store, just to test out Canmake's eyeshadows! I liked this neutral mini palette, it will be perfect to take away with me or keep in my handbag!
H14

Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner

I've seen this on a lot of blogs, but I don't think this is available in Australia. (Please tell me if I'm wrong, here!) As far as I can tell from other blog posts, this is pretty popular and pretty great, so I'll be interested to see how this goes as well.
H15

Kate Eyeshadow Palette

I swear the worst part about Japanese cosmetics is that a lot of them don't have their names in English so I have no idea what to Google if I want it again! I love the look of these colours, and have heard a lot about Kate Cosmetics, so hopefully this will be good!
H16

Etude House Oh M'Eye Lash Curling Mascara

Despite the fact I certainly don't need anymore mascaras, I couldn't pass up an Etude House mascara! I practically picked at random, so I'll let you all know how this one goes!
H17

Rimmel London Marshmallow Look Lipstick

I was actually surprised at how expensive Rimmel London was in Japan! But, I couldn't pass up a few of their products, one of them being their "Marshmallow Look" lipstick! The testers were super creamy and lovely, so I'm a bit sad we don't have these in Australia!
H18

RiPi Tryon Eye Lashes

I couldn't go to Japan and not buy false lashes right? There were heaps of lashes to choose from, so I decided on this value pack for makeup looks in the future!
H19

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Lipstick

The lipsticks in Etude House were amazing! So soft, creamy with a nice glossy finish! I couldn't help but pick up one of these cuties!
H20

Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips

Yes, I ended up with three of these. I got one on my first day and absolutely fell in love, so I definitely needed more! I really wanted to buy the entire collection, but I was already running out of space, and money, so I settled on just a few!
H21

Rimmel London Stick Blush

Another expensive Rimmel London product, but I really couldn't resist. I know for sure that we don't have this product here in Australia! The blusher was really gorgeous in store, and the other end of the stick has a brush that you can use to blend it in - perfect for travel!
H22

Etude House Dear My Blooming Eyes Palettes

Much like the first palette, there were heaps of these when I first went, and then only a few left on the last visit. I ended up with two because they were just too gorgeous! The consistency of the shadows are really lovely too, so expect some full reviews with swatches!
H23

Brown/Beige palette

I couldn't get past that gorgeous gold colour! I was sold!
H24

Purple palette

How gorgeous are these colours! Perfect smokey eye, coming up!
H25

Skinfood My Short Cake Single Palette

This was basically a "make your own" palette. I buy the outer case, I choose what I want inside (whether it be blush, eyeshadow, concealer, lips) and I buy the appropriate brush to go with it!
H26

I decided on the blusher, as I hadn't bought any blusher my entire travels. I fell in love with the colour and consistency; and while Skinfood was a little on the expensive side, I was impressed!
H27

Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher

This was an impulse buy on my last day shopping, as it was just too cute to give up! I've been looking for an orange blusher, and this was perfect.
H28

I doubt I'd ever use the little puff to apply, but it's an adorable touch.
H29

Etude House Hair Brush, Mirror & Tweezers

I realised that I didn't take my pocket mirror or tweezers with me overseas, so I was forced (or so is my excuse) to buy these cuties! The hair brush was actually a freebie!

H30

Revlon Lucky Bag

I was delighted to see this kind of thing in stores. I paid about $15AU for this, and it includes a surprise selection of Revlon products!

H31

The inside of the bag!

It includes a Revlon Lipgloss, a Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain, Mini Kabuki Brush, Mini Nail Polish, Revlon Polish (full size) and Revlon BB Cream

I thought this was pretty decent for the price. The BB cream is a darker colour, but I might be able to make it work!

H32

Models Own Mirrorball Polishes in Boogie Nights, Freak Out, Disco Inferno, Hot Stuff & Dancing Queen

I had such a hard time getting my hands on some Models Own polishes! I found out that Models Own had a Bottleshop in Tokyo, and when I emailed them asking for the address, turns out it was right around the corner from my hotel! But when I got there, no shop to be found! I emailed them again, and they got back to me the day before my last day (thankfully) to let me know the address had changed! Luckily it was just a short train ride away, and when I finally found it, I realised it was a pop-up store that constantly changes!
H33

Models Own Velvet Goth Polishes in Sardonyx, Absinthe, Valerian, Obsidian & Amethyst

I was so happy to get these ones! I've been eyeing them off for a while! I was only disappointed that they didn't have the box sets, so I missed out on the Wonderland Collection; and I wasn't sure which ones were in the collection to buy separately.
H34

Models Own Polishes in Snow Flakes, Ibiza Mix & Banger

I took a chance and just got a few that looked pretty!
H35

Mini Models Own All That Glitters kit

This includes three mini polishes in Blizzard, Pink Fizz and Southern Lights! I couldn't go past some minis!
H36

Etude House Play Polishes

These ones don't have names, sadly. I had a hard time picking colours, so I picked ones that I don't have at home. The pink one has little love hearts in it - how could I resist!

H37

Duty Free Shopping

I kept my Duty Free to a minimum, as I had no space left in my handbag as it was! I ended up with two MAC lipsticks, a palette and some mini perfumes!
H38

Dior Miss Dior Mini Collection

I love the Miss Dior scents, but I don't own any as I don't really need any more perfume! I love getting perfume as gifts, so I never buy for myself - and the Dior perfumes are a bit too expensive to expect as a gift! So I took the opportunity to grab some mini versions for about $50AU
H39

MAC Lipsticks in Chatterbox & Candy Yum Yum

I knew I had to grab some MAC Lipsticks, and I've had my eye on Candy Yum Yum for a while. I was very tired though, otherwise I would have gotten more, but I settled for two! Definitely next time, my Duty Free budget will be larger, especially in Hong Kong!
H40

Shu Uemura Princess Enchanted Black Parallel Palette

I saw this and knew it had to be mine. If I was going to splurge on anything this holiday, it was this! This was limited edition, and I can't seem to find them anywhere now, so I was very lucky to pick this up!
H41

The inside of the palette! The colours look gorgeous, but I was a bit disappointed that the palette looked a little cheap on the inside. Hmmm!

--

So there you have it, my Tokyo makeup haul! I bought a lot of other stuff, like clothing and accessories, which I will show you all in a separate post - as this one was way too long already! Sorry about that! (Only if you're interested though, so let me know!) I will definitely try to review some of these products for you, particularly the face products, so let me know if there is anything in particular you want to see!

Have you tried any of these products before? If so, what did you think?
