Memebox Special #13 Cooling Care*

MM1

After trying out the Korean subscription box, Memebox for the first time last month (you can read my review here) I was lucky enough to receive a second box! This one is the Special #13 Cooling Care. It's fairly safe to say that this box contained products that have a cooling effect!

Nail Stars Melbourne Nail Workshop

TW1

Last Saturday morning, I was lucky enough to be able to attend an awesome event called Nail Stars Melbourne! Nail Stars Melbourne is a nail workshop run by Chelsea of Trophy Wife, and Maria of So Nailicious, which was held at Chelsea's gorgeous salon in Richmond!

The two ladies teamed up to teach us some new skills, and were amazing at doing so! We had an intense three hours, but it felt like the time flew by, since I was having so much fun!

TW2

Uhhh firstly, how gosh darn amazing is this nail rack. Can I please have one in my house? As soon as I arrived, I was amazed at how pretty the salon was inside.

Sauce Box Creme de la Creme Palette*

SB1

I'm such a big fan of neutrals, so when I was given the chance to test out the Sauce Box Creme de la Creme palette, I jumped at it! I've admired this particular Sauce Box palette since it's release, so I'm excited to finally have it in my collection!

SB3

Firstly, how gorgeous is this packaging? I love how unique and special the palette is; it's not your average run of the mill look. I also love how giant the eyes shadows are! It has such a luxe feel, as they're about twice the size of an average eye shadow pot.

Face of Australia High Definition Primer

FOA1

Face of Australia has been releasing some interesting products lately, but the one that really caught my eye was the Face of Australia HD High Definition Primer. I've been a big fan of Face of Australia primers ever since I started my affair with beauty, so I had high hopes for this baby!

FOA2

The Face of Australia HD Primer contains silicone for that satin perfect finish. I have a love hate relationship with primers that contain silicone. On one hand, they make my skin flawless, which I love. On the other hand, I hate the way it feels before I've put makeup on. Plus it feels weird on my fingers when I apply it.

Sparkling Soiree 2014 Goody Bag

SS43

As promised, here is my post all about the goody bag that myself & Mel gave out at The Sparkling Soiree. We spent a lot of time and effort organising this goody bag, and we'd like to say a huge thank you to all the amazing brands that helped contribute. We had no idea we would have such a huge collection of brands willing to help us out, so we are truly thrilled!

You can see all the pictures from the day by reading my post here, or by checking out the #sparklingsoiree hashtag on Instagram

The Sparkling Soiree 2014

Sp1

A little while ago, my friend Mel and I organised a beauty blogger event called The Sparkling Soiree. It took us about six months, but we finally pulled it off! We had just under 20 beautiful bloggers attend, and we were lucky enough to have a huge number of brands contribute to make our day special!

I just wanted to share a few snaps I managed to take on the day with you all, and hopefully we can make next year just as successful, if not more successful!

Nivea All In 1 Multi Action Extra Deep Cleansing Wash/Scrub/Mask *

SK1

I've been using the Nivea All In 1 Multi Action Extra Deep Cleansing Wash/Scrub/Mask lately, and so I thought it was about time I shared my thoughts. (Wow, that's a mouthful. I'm just going to call it the Nivea All In 1 Cleanser from now on!)

As you probably gathered from the name, this product is a wash, scrub and mask, which is great for those who like a multi-tasking product, like me!

Sk2

I mostly use this as a wash, as I find the scrubiness isn't as rough as I'd like. I like my scrubs to be pretty intense, and this is extremely mild. So, if you're not like me and you don't like your scrubs to be too harsh, then this might be a good product for you to try out.

As a mask, I've only used this a few times as I have a load of other masks I like to use. Plus, I love using this in the shower as a wash so I forget I'm using it as a mask and end up washing it off almost straight away!

Concrete Minerals Sugar & Spice Collection

CM1

I've heard a lot about Concrete Minerals, so I decided it was time I give them a go! When browsing their website, I came across their cute sets, and I knew one of them had to be mine. I settled on the Sugar & Spice Collection, which includes four shades and a lip gloss. It also comes with a bonus tin that is just too adorable.

The box was presented beautifully when I received it. I've tried my best to keep it looking like this, but failing miserably.

I received the second box; Scentbox #2: Baby Powder. I'm assuming everything in the box is smells similar to baby powder. How cute is the box, though?
