John Frieda Frizz Ease Serums *

JF3

A little while ago, I was sent some new goodies from my favourite hair care brand - John Frieda! I'm already a huge fan of their hair dyes, shampoos and conditioners, but I haven't really tried many of their other hair products.

When it comes to hair serums, gels and other miscellaneous hair products, I get really confused. My hair is pretty oily already so I try to keep most products out of it. I usually use some kind of argan oil to protect my hair from heat, but that's about it.

When I was introduced to the John Frieda Frizz Ease serum range, I was hesitant but optimistic.

There are three serums in the Frizz Ease range; Original, Perfect Finish and Extra Strength. The Original and the Extra Strength are both variations of the "6 Effects" serum. This includes eliminating frizz, humidity and heat protection, smoothing, hydrating and taming properties. The other; Perfect Finish, is simply to control fly-aways, boost shine and generally smooth your hair.

Original was my absolute favourite. I found this really helped keep my hair smooth and under control. I usually have a lot of fly-aways, but with this I found my hair was staying in place a lot easier. It was also so much softer and remained cleaner looking for longer. I find this one the easiest to use, as you apply when your hair is wet and then style like normal.
Perfect Finish also did a great job at keeping my fly-aways at bay, however I didn't find this had as much of a wow factor for me. If you're looking for shininess however, I would look no further! This baby really created shine, but I didn't like applying this as much as you are supposed to apply it to dry hair, which made me feel like I was making my hair oily!
Extra Strength was much like Original, however it contains Silk Protein to help keep my hair stronger than ever. I didn't notice too much difference short term, but after using it for a few weeks non-stop, I did find that my hair was feeling stronger and breaking less. This was also easy to apply as you apply when your hair is wet and then style.

Overall, after trying out these new John Frieda Frizz Ease Serums, I was totally impressed. I was under the impression that most serums and other hair products would probably just make my hair oily, but I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely these ones made my hair feel.

My favourite was Original, but I'd recommend the other two to anybody wanting to make their hair look healthier and feel nicer.

Have you tried any of the John Frieda Frizz Ease Serums yet? If so, what are your thoughts?
