January Empties

jan-emp1

I can't believe the first month of 2015 is already over! January has been a pretty difficult month for me, but I'm glad it's over. February is usually one of my favourite months - first my birthday, then Valentine's Day - what's not to love?

All the products I used up this past month.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical

This was such a lovely scent and made using dry shampoo far more pleasant. However, I felt it wasn't as amazing as the volumising dry shampoo from this range.
Would I repurchase? Maybe if it was on sale.

Nivea Stress Protect Anti Perspirant*

If you follow this blog, then you'll know I'm an avid user of this same deodorant but in the roll on version. The spray version was excellent, especially for a spray, so I kept this in my handbag for emergencies. Read my full review here.
Would I repurchase? Probably not but only because I'm mad for the roll on.

Eco Store Hand Wash in Orange & Patchouli*

This was a pretty nice handwash, although my boyfriend hated it. The packaging had a little bit of a design flaw when it came to the dispenser, where it was a bit too small and the handwash would constantly dry up and get stuck in there. Push this baby too hard and the handwash squirts everywhere. Um, yeah. Other than that though, I really liked that it didn't dry out my hands and had a very pleasant scent.
Would I repurchase? Most likely.

Lush Drummer's Drumming Reusable Bubble Bar

This was part of the Christmas range at Lush, and was just lovely. As it is reusable, I got more than a few uses out of this before I finished it off. It gave a very decent amount of bubbles and although the scent wasn't overly strong, it was still nice.
Would I repurchase? I don't have to since I have another one but I would!

Bomb Cosmetics Glass Candle in Peppermint & Chilli

This is my boyfriend's favourite candle because it has more of a manly smell. I really like it too because I find the scent to be very refreshing without being too strong. This is actually our second candle with this scent!
Would I repurchase? Yes, definitely.

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner

This is one of my favourite liquid liners to date. Not only is it inexpensive, it's also perfectly black and is so easy to use. I'm sad to see this one go but I do have a back up.
Would I repurchase? Always!

Priceline Round Cotton Pads 100 Pack

A staple in my makeup routine, but before I rant about how much I love these, can someone tell me if they've been discontinued? Every Priceline I've been into the last month does not seem to have these anywhere, which is very frustrating, because I love them.
Would I repurchase? If I can ever find them again!

I'm feeling glad I used up a few products I don't use every day, it's nice to see them gone and it leaves me more room to buy more goodies!

Have you tried any of the above products? If so, what are your thoughts?

  1. I love empties posts, it's always interesting to read the kind of things that people have been using and liking. Not the hugest fan of Batiste dry shampoo, I find it doesn't really work on me, but I really want to try the Maybelline Master Precise liquid liner!

  5. I got a sample of that Nivea deo and I have to agree with you that it's a good one! It doesn't have a floral or fruity scent that I hate with deos.
The Peppermint and Chili looks fab! :)

  9. A peppermint and chilli scented candle sounds intriguing. I can't exactly imagine what that combination would be like. I might keep an eye out for it at the shops!
