Maybelline Colour Show Bleached Neon Nail Enamels*

neon1

Neon is truly perfect in summer, and what better way to show off those bright colours than with a brand new manicure. When I was given the chance to try out a few colours from the Maybelline Colour Show Bleached Neon Nails range, I was delighted to say yes. I was sent three gorgeous shades to try out, each more stunning than the last.

Tropink, Sun Flare, Chic Chartreuse

What I loved about the Bleached Neon range is that the colours are bright, yet are not blinding. They have a pastel element to them, making them really unique and beautiful shades. I instantly fell in love with Chic Chartreuse, as I don't have anything like this in my collection at all.

Tropink, Sun Flare, Chic Chartreuse
All swatches were done with no base coat, no top coat, and two coats of the nail enamel. The colours do appear a little brighter once they've been applied, but still have that pastel tone. They have a semi-glossy finish but nothing over the top. Application was a little bit of a pain, as the colours are on the pastel side, slack application can lead to a streaky finish so these are not rush jobs. I found the colours to be mostly long lasting, no more than an average nail polish.

Bleached neon nails were definitely the way to go this summer. I enjoyed wearing these gorgeous colours, and it made me happy every time I looked down at my claws! I've been a fan of the Maybelline Colour Show nails for a while now, so it was no surprise that I'd love these too. Aside from the tricky application, these are lovely polishes. I'd definitely consider going out and finding the other shades from the Bleached Neon range!

Have you tried the Maybelline Colour Show Bleached Neon Nail Enamels yet? If so, what are your thoughts? Which shade is your favourite?
