The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask*

BODY1

I adore The Body Shop, and I adore face masks; so when I received The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask, I knew I would love it. I've been using The Body Shop Drops of Youth Serum recently and have been loving it, so needless to say I had high hopes for this sleeping mask.

BODY2

This mask is designed to be slept in, and The Body Shop promises this will work it's magic while you sleep! Unlike traditional masks that you wash off, apply this to your face before bed and leave it; no need to wash off!

The fragrance is fairly neutral, and I didn't notice any lingering scent once applied. I've been applying this directly after the serum, and have found excellent results!

BODY3

The texture is incredibly odd, and exactly what you'd expect from a mask described as "bouncy." Whilst it's very soft, it's a bit gooey and a little bit like a sticky jelly. Once you start applying though, it softens very quickly and isn't sticky or gooey at all. You only need a small scoop as a little goes a long way, so this mask is going to last me a while!

After using it just once, I already began to notice a difference. My skin was incredibly smooth and felt amazing! It was love at first sleep!

Overall, I'm really impressed with this mask. It's helped keep my skin hydrated and soft, and hopefully with long time usage, it'll help keep my skin nice and youthful. This is a great mask for people with dehydrated skin, but I'd recommend this for pretty much everyone. If you have sensitive skin, I'd say try it out in store before spending the big bucks. (This retails for $44.95AUD... but totally worth it.)

Have you tried The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask yet? If so, what are your thoughts? This is a very hyped up product. I think it's worth the hype - do you?

  4. I haven't tried their masks yet. The texture looks really nice, and as long as it doesn't leave me a sticky mess when I sleep then its a total winner. I'm a very active sleeper XD

  5. I had to laugh at the name of this product! I had in my mind you could drop it on the floor and it would bounce back up! XD A sleeping mask sounds nice though, let it do all the work while you sleep.

  7. I recently received this mask as a PR sample, but I haven't used it yet, because I'm on an acne treatment. I can't wait to use it though and I'm glad to know that it's working and that it's great for dehydrated skin, because mine is definitely dehydrated! x

  9. I've tried the Korean Sleeping Masks and found them too sticky and gluggy - my hair looked a mess the next day and I had to wash my pillowcase - not something I want to do every day! I've heard that they're really hydrating and great for the skin, and Koreans swear by them!

    1. Oh no that doesn't sound too good! This one isn't like that at all, your skin absorbs it really quick so it is more like a moisturiser. xx
