Bloggers United Perth Event Recap

Bloggers United AU Perth Event Recap - Sweetaholic Beauty

If you follow me via social media, then you'll know that I spent last weekend in Perth for our Bloggers United AU event. As one of the founders of Bloggers United AU, I was incredibly excited to be able to make it over for the event.

I spent four hours on a red eye flight, and finally made it to my destination; Sophie's house. Sophie from Born to Buy was good enough to put me up for my trip over. Her family was so generous and it was so nice to meet her in real life after being online friends for so long.

This was my first ever trip to Perth, so I was pretty excited to meet everyone; especially our lovely Perth representatives Sophie from Born to Buy, Angie from Peplum and Prosecco and Sam from That Little Beauty Blog. All three lovely ladies worked their butts off to bring our beautiful vision to life!

Our event was held at Gramercy Bar and Kitchen in Perth. The venue was on the smaller side, but to be honest I don't think we were expecting such a full house. Coming from Melbourne, I was expecting winter weather but was met with a super warm day! The venue allowed us to open up all the windows, which let in a very pleasant breeze.

We received these beautiful cupcakes for the event, made by local brand Sweetly Baked Perth. She was lovely enough to contribute these and made them fresh for the day. I can't believe how yummy these were.

Sweetly Baked Perth also created us these special Bloggers United cookies for the event. I was so impressed with how well these turned out!

FreshFlowers.com.au also supplied us with some beautiful floral decorations for the table. Not only that, they also supplied a singular rose for each attendee. Sadly due to quarantine restrictions I wasn't able to bring fresh flowers back into Victoria so I had to leave my rose in Perth!

We also organised for Gramercy Bar and Kitchen to create a mocktail for each attendee; we got the virgin Shirley Temple. This was so delicious, I almost had to order a second one for myself.

The set up before our guests arrived. I actually did not realise how many goodies we had for the attendees, the tables were jam packed.

Essence of Jasmine was another local brand that contributed to our goody bag. Yasmeen, the owner, actually came along to the event and brought along her collection for us to check out. I was so impressed with her candles in particular, the scent was so intense and beautiful. Yasmeen was also such a lovely person to meet, she was so bubbly!

The Enchanted Ocean Soap; this was my favourite of all her products. How gorgeous and creative does this soap look! If you haven't already, make sure you check her out - I'll more than likely be doing a haul soon as I have added a lot of things to my wishlist since seeing her collection in real life!

Myself, Soph, Sam and Angie in our awesome Instagram prop! These girls made the day perfect - it was so nice to finally meet all of them! This was such a big hit - so many of the girls were playing with it.

All of the lovely ladies. I think one or two may have had to leave a little earlier and didn't make it into this shot sadly, but this is almost all of us! It was so nice meeting all of these ladies, each and every one of them was sweet and so friendly.

Myself with a few of the presenters, fangirling with one of my Insta-crushes Sophia, and the Perth Rep ladies with Yasmeen from Essence of Jasmine. (Sadly I didn't get a chance to take a picture with her.) We were so lucky enough to have so many brands come and present to us, including L'Oreal Hair, Elucent Skincare, Enbacci, Weleda, Plunketts and Lush Cosmetics. All of the brand representatives were so lovely and approachable, as well as very knowledgeable of their brands.

All the goodie bags I had to take home from Perth. Needless to say my luggage was pretty heavy. I almost hit the weight restriction on my flight. The moment I got home, I had a lot of fun things to go through.

The Bloggers United AU Perth event was a huge success. I had the best time and I could see that Sophie, Sam and Angie put so much effort into making our event a great one. Nikita and I did what we could from Melbourne, but we couldn't do everything!

A huge thank you to everyone who made the day amazing. Perth was amazing, and I'll definitely be back! I'll be sharing the contents of the goody bag shortly!

Make sure you check out the Bloggers United AU website, and our Instagram for more snaps of the day. Did you attend the Bloggers United event in Perth? If so, did you have fun? Would you consider going to a Bloggers United event somewhere else in Australia?
