Happy Feet: Keep Your Feet Happy with Scholl*

Happy Feet: Keep Your Feet Happy with Scholl Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Feet can be kind of icky sometimes. They can get dry, and cracked, and downright gross. I try to take care of my feet, but it can be hard to keep up with them. Feet are often the last of our concerns and to put in that little extra effort in the morning or before bed can sometimes seem pointless - especially in winter when our feet are going to be covered all day anyway. Come summer though, we're regretting those decisions.

This winter I've been trialling a few products from Scholl to keep my feet extra happy this winter - and even happier come summer.

I have three products I've been trying out - the Velvet Smooth Express Pedi, the Velvet Smooth Essential Moisture Cream, and the Heel Balm Gold. Now, I'm not going to show you before and after pictures. I feel like that will turn off my entire list of readers, and possibly attract an unwanted crowd. So instead you're just going to have to take my word on these reviews.

Scholl Velvet Smooth Essential Moisture Cream

I usually just use regular hand cream on my feet, as they do tend to get very dry. I find that if I don't use something, the skin around my toes tend to get a bit flaky, which is totally gross. What I liked about the Velvet Smooth Essential Moisture Cream is that it was a lot different to my regular hand cream. It felt lighter when I applied it, and didn't really have any scent. It absorbed super quickly, which meant my feet were slipping and sliding when I walked on my tiled floor. It also actually kept my skin moisturised. I find that sometimes with fast absorbing creams, it doesn't really feel like you've applied it and you need to apply more. This one has definitely replaced my regular hand cream. You can find more about this one here.

Heel Balm Gold

As mentioned before, I do use hand cream on my feet usually, so my heels weren't terribly bad. They were still pretty hard and a little cracked, but nothing too scary. My partner's feet were a little worse than mine (I'm pretty sure he doesn't moisturise at all) so I got him to predominantly try this one out for me. The box promises results in three days, which I would say is fairly accurate. He applied before bed for about a week, covering his feet with socks, and already his feet are feeling so much smoother. I'll definitely be keeping this one handy for flip-flop season. You can find more about this one here.

Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi

Okay so this is my new favourite toy. I've seen this reviewed by so many bloggers, but never really felt the need to go out and buy it. I honestly thought of this as a bit of a gimmick, but after trying this out, I've changed my mind. Although it seems like it's super rough, it works incredibly well at removing the rough skin on the bottom of my heels. If you do press down to hard, the mechanism stops so it won't hurt you.

Boy oh boy do my feet love this thing. The first time I tried it out, I made the mistake of doing it on my bed. On my black sheets. Yeah... it was pretty gross. I've been using this one every couple of nights and I'm really finding a difference. Definitely something I would recommend for anyone with hard skin on feet. You can find out more about this one here.

I have to say since trying out these products from Scholl, my feet are definitely feeling a lot happier. It only takes a few extra minutes in your morning or evening routine, and it makes a world of difference. Using the Express Pedi can also be a lot of fun, too, so it's not like it's all boring!

Have you tried any of the above products from Scholl? If so, what are your thoughts? Do you have a DIY pedicure routine? If so, what do you include? How do you take care of your feet?
