August Empties

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

I can't believe it's already September. July and August sped by, and we had a lot of ups and downs. I had no empty products to share back at the end of July, so they've accumulated up to a pretty decent empties post.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

All my empties altogether. It always amazes me how many Lush Cosmetics products I tend to use up.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Redwin Sorbolene Moisturiser

This is my go-to moisturiser. I always use this on my hands and feet before bed, it's a real necessity for me. Nothing else seems to moisturise my skin as well as this; except perhaps the Lush Cosmetics Dream Cream.
Would I repurchase? Absolutely. I have about three tubs of these around the house.

Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh SPF 15

This is one of my favourite body moisturisers for my legs and arms. It's almost as good as my Redwin Sorbolene, and so we do tend to use a lot of this one in my household. You can read my outdated review on this one here and a more updated version here.
Would I repurchase? Sure would, I already have another tub.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Lush Cosmetics D'Fluff Strawberry Shaving Soap*
This is one of the newest products from Lush Cosmetics, and I am totally in love with it. I decided not to use this in the shower, as I would rather not have water fill up the tub, so I've kept this beside my bath and use it for the closest possible shave. You can read my review on this one here.
Would I repurchase? I would consider it - but I can't say for sure.

Lush Cosmetics Big Shampoo

This is my go-to shampoo, and I will never stop using it. This is a clarifying shampoo and really helps to keep my hair soft and clean feeling. I do find that it strips any colour though, so since I have been colouring my hair a lot lately, I haven't been using it as much. However I always use this every now and then, even with coloured hair, for that extra special clean.
Would I repurchase? Absolutely. Always will.

Lush Cosmetics Holly-Go-Lightly Bubble Bar

This was one of the limited edition Christmas products. It's incredibly sparkly and so I have not used it until now - it was so lovely and bubbly!
Would I repurchase? I actually have a back up. But I will purchase again in Christmas.

Lush Cosmetics Think Pink Mini Bath Ballistic

The Think Pink bath bomb is one of my favourites. It makes my bath water pretty and pink, and makes me feel oh so girly!
Would I repurchase? Absolutely.

Lush Cosmetics Parsley Porridge Soap

I was sent this originally as a press sample and loved it so much. When I finished up the press sample, I went out and repurchased it. It does wonders for my skin, especially my acne-prone areas! You can read more information about this one here and here.
Would I repurchase?
I already have.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Lush Cosmetics Yummy Mummy Shower Gel*

This was part of their limited edition Mother's Day collection. This was a really lovely and floral product, and was very easy to use up. You can read my full review here.
Would I repurchase? I probably wouldn't buy this before other Lush Cosmetics shower gels, but I will more than likely pick it up if it returns next year.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O*

I fell in love with this one very quickly after receiving it from an event's goody bag. I found that it worked incredibly well at removing my makeup, and was very gentle on my skin. I tried Bioderma a very long time ago and it broke me out, so I was hesitant but I'm glad I tried it again. You can read my full review here.
Would I repurchase? I already have.

Listerine Teeth Defence Mouthwash

A necessity for the bathroom. I prefer the other flavour of this one, but I'm not complaining.
Would I repurchase? Already have.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in Night Calming

I love keeping makeup remover wipes on hand, just as an easier way to remove my makeup at the end of a long day. You can read my full review here.
Would I repurchase? Yes, as this is my favourite brand for makeup removing wipes.

Nivea Stress Protect Anti-Perspirant

This has been my go-to for ages now, ever since it was first sent to me for review. You can read my full review here.
Would I repurchase? Already have, and always will.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

MOR Dolce Sorbet Fragrant Candle

My friend actually gave this to me as she didn't want it any more. This has a really nice coconut smell, and it was pretty strong. I really liked this candle, but it was nothing special.

Would I repurchase? Probably not, as I have so many other candles.

Indigo Flame Candle in Fruit Tingle

Oh yum, this was such a delicious candle. It legitimately smelt like Fruit Tingles, which was super delicious. Sadly it made me crave Fruit Tingles!
Would I repurchase? I do love the Indigo Flame scents, so I would consider it.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Formula 10.0.6 No Time To Shine Oil Absorbing Mud Mask

This is one of my all time favourite masks, so it's no surprised that I've finished it up. I use a lot of masks, but this is usually the one I end up using. You can read my very old and out of date review here.
Would I repurchase? Already have.

Revlon Precision Lash Adhesive

I won this about a million years ago when I first started blogging, and have been using it ever since. As you can probably see from the packaging, it's gone pretty gross. While there is still a little bit left over, it really needed to be binned.
Would I repurchase? Probably as I'm so used to using this one and it really did the job.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Woolworths Select Makeup Pads

I purchased these on a whim, as I ran out of my regular Swisspers packaging. I'll be honest I wasn't wowed - they were okay but nothing special.
Would I repurchase? Only if I'm desperate.

Swisspers Makeup Pads

Since Priceline stopped making their in-house brand version of these, I've made the switch to Swisspers. I've been loving them so far.
Would I repurchase? Yes, already have.

--

As you can see, I used up a decent amount of products. I didn't have anything at the end of July but half of this stuff I finished up right in the beginning of August - so I was keeping it for a while.

I feel like there's no better feeling than using up products! It's always nice to be able to start up a fresh product, even if it's just a replacement of the previous one.

Have you used up any products this month? If so, what did you use up? Have you used any of the above products?

  11. Great job, even for two months worth! I reckon that Redwin moisturiser would take me forever to finish! I love Lush products however I tend to savour them as they are quite pricey and a big treat for me to use them, especially if I get a night off to use a bath bomb! :)
