Remington Rapid Cut Hair Clipper Review *

Remington Rapid Cut Hair Clipper Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

A little while ago, I was sent the Remington Rapid Cut Hair Clipper to try out. My partner Alex always shaves his head, but he always goes to the barber as we don't have any clippers at home. Since he spent a lot of time in hospital, his hair was starting to look a little out of control. Even when I brought him home, he was still too weak to go out to the barber, so these clippers arrived just in time.

Remington Rapid Cut Hair Clipper Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

The best thing about the Remington Rapid Cut Hair Clipper is that it's a hand held device and designed to be used on yourself. I remember when I was growing up and my father would need his hair shaved, it was always up to my mum to get the clippers out and shave him whilst he sat in the kitchen. Now, you can do it all yourself.

Halloween Swap with Jojo's Beauty

Halloween Swap with Jojo's Beauty - Sweetaholic Beauty

It's almost Halloween and I couldn't be more excited. Those who know me in real life will know I'm an avid horror fan. I find it so sad that Australia doesn't really celebrate Halloween, so I will usually host some kind of Halloween swap. This year, I helped host a swap through Bloggers United AU and was matched up with Joanna from Jojo's Beauty. She was a delight to swap with, and we actually met when I visited Sydney recently, so make sure you check her blog out.

Firstly I adore her packaging. She made a great effort and I now feel ashamed that my packaging isn't as spooky. I'll be reusing the spider webs and spiders to decorate my desk at work this week!

The Timely Treat Subscription Box*

The Timely Treat Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

A little while ago, I was contacted by a lovely little company called The Timely Treat. As you might be able to guess, this is actually a subscription box for your special time of the month. That's right ladies, it's a subscription box for your period. So if this post is a little bit TMI for you - turn back now.

I personally don't get my period as I actually have an Implanon implant in my arm, which has stopped my period, but I obviously know women in my life that I could share this box of goodies with. In saying that, I really wanted to share the contents of the box and how it works with my readers as well, as I think it's just a fantastic idea.

The Timely Treat Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Everything is stacked up pretty nicely in the box, and no space is wasted. It's jam packed to the brim with lady items.

September Empties

September Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Well, thank goodness September is over. September was one of the hardest months in my life. My partner spent a good amount of time in hospital, and so I was incredibly stressed and run down. Somehow, I still managed to use up a fair amount of products.

EM2

All the products I used up last month. Pretty good considering most of the time I was at my parent's house using their stuff, too!

Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak - Review*

Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak - Review

If you know me, you'll know that the month of September was pretty awful for me. My partner spent a lot of time in hospital and I was actually unwell myself. I was sick and stressed so my muscles were pretty tight and painful.

I received the Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak just in time; and I've already used it on a number of occasions so I thought it would be time to share my thoughts.

Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak - Review

The Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak contains a bunch of amazing products that help you relax, including extracts of Arnica flowers and birch leaves. It also contains lavender and rosemary essential oils; both amazing oils for relaxation.

While it doesn't really smell like much in the bottle, when it's used in the bath it comes alive with a fabulous natural scent. I have to say that I found the scent to be rather unique and refreshing.

Biore Charcoal Pore Minimiser

Biore Charcoal Pore Minimiser Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

I have been loving my Biore Pore Penetrating Charcoal Bar so much, that I also had to pick up the Biore Charcoal Pore Minimiser. I've been a huge fan of the other charcoal products released by Biore in the past, so I had a good feeling about this one.

I don't know what it was about Biore products, but I love the scent. Almost all Biore products smell the same to me; like green tea or something similar.

Face of Australia Kajal Eyeliner Stix - Review & Swatches

I little while ago I was browsing the aisles of Priceline when I noticed that Face of Australia have a few new products on the shelves - including the Kajal Eyeliner Stix. I hadn't heard any of these new products as yet, so naturally I had to grab the entire collection. For review purposes. Of course.

The limited edition collection includes six beautiful jewel colours; all of the names are ancient Egypt themed. All of the colours are incredibly bright and beautiful, and all in all it's just a really fun looking collection.

Essence of Jasmine Haul

Essence of Jasmine Haul

In August, I had the amazing experience of attending the first Bloggers United event in Perth. One of the local businesses to attend and showcase her beautiful products was Yasmeen from Essence of Jasmine. I love supporting local businesses so I was thrilled to check out her products - which were totally amazing. She actually had one of her candles lit for the entire event and the room couldn't have smelt better. It was delicious.

I received a miniature version of one of her hand poured candles in the goody bag and I fell in love - as soon as I got home I jumped online and made an order.

Essence of Jasmine Haul

I grabbed four things - a full sized soy candle, and three packs of soy melts. I usually opt for the delicious food smelling candles, so pretty much everything I got makes my house smell like a bakery. Which is fine by me.

She actually creates a larger selection of soaps, scrubs and moisturisers but sadly I'm not as rich as I would like, so I really had to limit myself here.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever - Review*

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever - Review

I'm a huge fan of Marc Jacobs fragrances. I have a few of them already, so when Daisy Dream Forever was announced, I was pretty excited. I actually don't own the original Daisy Dream that was released in 2014, but I have read that this is a new version of the original scent.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever - Review

I fell in love with the bottle as soon as I opened the box - the gorgeous silver and blue really reminds me of summer. According to Marc Jacobs this fragrance is inspired by endless blue sky, and you can definitely see the inspiration coming through.

Rimmel London has always been one of my favourite brands; so when I heard of the new Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Nude Collection, I was excited. With five new nude-inspired shades, I knew I had to grab them all.

Can we talk about this gorgeous packaging? I've always liked the Kate Moss collections, but this beautiful pastel pink tube is just too pretty.
