Essence of Jasmine Haul

Essence of Jasmine Haul

In August, I had the amazing experience of attending the first Bloggers United event in Perth. One of the local businesses to attend and showcase her beautiful products was Yasmeen from Essence of Jasmine. I love supporting local businesses so I was thrilled to check out her products - which were totally amazing. She actually had one of her candles lit for the entire event and the room couldn't have smelt better. It was delicious.

I received a miniature version of one of her hand poured candles in the goody bag and I fell in love - as soon as I got home I jumped online and made an order.

I grabbed four things - a full sized soy candle, and three packs of soy melts. I usually opt for the delicious food smelling candles, so pretty much everything I got makes my house smell like a bakery. Which is fine by me.

She actually creates a larger selection of soaps, scrubs and moisturisers but sadly I'm not as rich as I would like, so I really had to limit myself here.

The soy melts were one of my favourites. At only $6 for a packet of six, these are a straight up bargain. I selected three scents; Raspberry Sorbet, Blueberry Indulgence and Lemon Curd Pie. They smell absolutely incredibly. My Mother-In-Law was not a fan of the Blueberry and Raspberry though, so I think it depends on your personal tastes.

I love the way the are packaged too - they are so easy to break apart and use one or two at a time. (Maybe mix and match the flavours, too.) I found that just one melt was more than enough, but I'm a fan of using at least two as it lasts much longer.

The candle I picked up was Sweet Cookie Crumble. As I was buying a big candle, I wanted it to be a scent that I knew I was going to enjoy. You can't go wrong with cookies! This one is totally delicious, and everyone who has had a sniff agrees this is one yummy candle. The scent is super strong too which means you don't even need to light it - just leaving the lid off will fill the room with a sweet cookie scent.

These candles retail for $20, but do have two wicks and a very long lifespan, so I feel the price is definitely justified. My own mum has already requested I order a few for her.

I'm totally in love with Essence of Jasmine - the candles and melts smell absolutely amazing and I'm definitely going to be buying more. Next time I'll be trying out the other products, too.

Have you tried Essence of Jasmine before? If so, what are your thoughts? Are you a fan of candles and melts?
