Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Nude Collection - Review and Swatches

Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Nude Collection - Review and Swatches

Rimmel London has always been one of my favourite brands; so when I heard of the new Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Nude Collection, I was excited. With five new nude-inspired shades, I knew I had to grab them all.

Can we talk about this gorgeous packaging? I've always liked the Kate Moss collections, but this beautiful pastel pink tube is just too pretty.

I was pretty excited by these five shades. I love that they've created shades that will suit most skintones, including darker skintones which are often overlooked by cosmetic brands.

40, 42, 43, 45, 48

The middle three shades really stood out for me as potential MLBB (my lips but better) shades for my own skintone. I felt as though 40 might be a tad light, whilst 48 is definitely too dark to be considered a nude shade for me.

The closest shade to my lips would have to be 45, while my favourite shade to wear has been 43. I was surprised at how all the shades were easy to wear; even 40 and 48. All shades were incredibly creamy and easy to apply. I was impressed with how pigmented the shades were.

I was delighted with this collection and would recommend this to anyone on the search for the perfect nude shade. Creamy, pigmented and just downright pretty - this collection is a winner.

Have you tried the Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Nude Collection? If so, what are your thoughts? Which shade is your favourite?

  2. I'm waiting until they go on special at Priceline, then I'll get a couple! I'm excited by this range too, as my fave ever nude is 07 from the original Kate Moss Rimmel Lasting Finish collection and nowhere sells it anymore! So hopefully one of these is my perfect MLBB shade. They look really flattering in your swatches :)

  4. 45 is my favourite and I've been wearing 48 quite a bit also, but like you, 48 is not really a nude shade on my lips. They are all easy to wear.
