The Timely Treat Subscription Box*

The Timely Treat Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

A little while ago, I was contacted by a lovely little company called The Timely Treat. As you might be able to guess, this is actually a subscription box for your special time of the month. That's right ladies, it's a subscription box for your period. So if this post is a little bit TMI for you - turn back now.

I personally don't get my period as I actually have an Implanon implant in my arm, which has stopped my period, but I obviously know women in my life that I could share this box of goodies with. In saying that, I really wanted to share the contents of the box and how it works with my readers as well, as I think it's just a fantastic idea.

Everything is stacked up pretty nicely in the box, and no space is wasted. It's jam packed to the brim with lady items.

The little description card. Looking as though the brand will be providing organic pads and tampons, which is really excellent news.

As you can see, there are plenty of lady products included in the box. (There were heaps more that I left out of the photo.) There was enough for just over a week, with heavy flow pads, regular pads, panty liners and a little selection of tampons. I like that they include a range of different products.

They also included a few other products to help ease your monthly time. I received a Burton Health Rest & Digest Organic Herbal Tea, an Afterglow scrub and French Marshmallows. I love these little additions; I feel as though this makes the box that little bit extra special.

I was really impressed with The Timely Treat. It's a very lovely idea, particularly a great idea for younger girls who are just beginning their periods. It can be a struggling time and something like this can certainly help you see it more positively.

When you do sign up, you you can specify if you prefer tampons or pads, and you can alter the products based on your flow too. You can also cancel any time, meaning you aren't locked in.

Have you tried The Timely Treat? If so, what are your thoughts? Do you think this is a good idea? You can visit their website here.
