Christmas with Colour Theory*

Christmas with Colour Theory - Sweetaholic Beauty

I still can't believe it's December already. With December comes Christmas, and with Christmas comes some amazing gift sets from cosmetic brands. I was lucky enough to receive some gorgeous products from budget brand Colour Theory.

For those of you unfamiliar with Colour Theory, they are an incredibly wallet-friendly brand available from leading chemists. From what I've noticed, they are relatively new but have pleasantly surprised me.

Christmas with Colour Theory - Sweetaholic Beauty

This year I'm showing you two stunning limited edition gift sets, and some of their new Jumbo Lip Crayons that are actually part of their permanent line, but would still make lovely gifts.

Jumbo Lip Crayons in Sweet Tart and Rosewood

Since the rise of the lip crayon, I have opted for them as easier options for everyday application. Due to this preference, these Jumbo Lip Crayons had my eye right away. I only have two shades out of the four available, but these two are the ones I would have picked if I had the chance. Sweet Tart is a lovely deep pink, while Rosewood is the perfect rose colour. These babies are so moisturising and easy to use, I'm in love. One thing that I really liked is that they do not have a matte finish; they have a lovely glossy finish that just makes life so much easier. These babies retail at only $8.00 each.

Snowflake Eyeshadow Palette

The design of this actual palette is not unique - I have seen this used by a few high end brands, but I can't deny that it is a gorgeous design. This palette has 30 unique shades. I didn't want to swatch all of them for this post, but I've had a play with most of the shades. I was delighted at the quality of the eyeshadow - buttery smooth and a dream to blend, this is definitely the perfect gift for any beauty lover. This retails for just $15.00 and would make a great stocking filler.

Drop Dead Glamorous Lip Gloss Set

I was super excited to see this. I will more than likely be sharing some swatches over on my Instagram page, so keep your eyes peeled. I'm not usually a fan of lip glosses but these were too cute not to fall in love with. I have tried a few shades and expected them to be sticky; however they were pretty wearable. Some of the shades would be a gorgeous finish to your favourite lipstick. At only $12.00 for the entire set, it's a total bargain.

I was really excited by the Christmas goodies from Colour Theory - they all make perfect Kris Kringle gifts too if you know any beauty lovers. They also make a pretty awesome gift for yourself too.

Have you tried anything from Colour Theory before? If so, what are your thoughts? Will you be picking up anything from the Christmas collection?
