Hair & Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment*

Hair & Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

A few months ago, I was sent the Hair & Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment to try out. I'd been following Hair & Me for some time on Instagram and noticed that a fair few bloggers were loving their stuff, so when it was my turn, I was pretty thrilled.

Unless you've been living under a rock the past year, you'll have noticed that these kinds of hair treatments have become all the rage on Instagram and blogs alike, yet this was my first try of anything like this.

Let's start with the packaging. Now it's a nifty idea and it makes it super travel friendly, but I'll admit I do have a little trouble getting the actual product out. I feel like I have to squish the packaging really hard to get anything out of it, and the results can be sketchy. I find this with all packaging like this, not just from this brand, so it's nothing against this one in particular. I do like that it's pink though - definitely makes it more appealing somehow.

The packaging mentions to put this in the fridge for about 30 minutes prior to application. I did this, and found it definitely made the product easier to work with. The treatment itself has no colour to it, and feels incredibly oily - which is to be expected considering it's 100% oil based.

You are supposed to leave this on for a minimum 45 minutes, but I usually leave it on as long as I can. When you're ready to wash it out, you have to shampoo twice and then condition like normal.

The ingredients are pretty self explanatory, and are jam packed with natural goodies. I was pleased to find that this product was also 100% Australian made and are not tested on animals.

After using this treatment the first time, I was pretty impressed at how soft my hair felt. My hair has gone through a fair bit of trauma recently with a few rounds of bleaching and colouring, so having a treatment make my hair feel this good was a little exciting.

After more than a few times using this, it's safe to say that my hair loves it. I really should be doing this once a week or so, but this only has about 5 uses. Still, definitely a winner in my books.
