Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick Collection*

Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick Collection Review & Swatches - Sweetaholic Beauty

Rimmel London has always been one of my favourite brands, and lately they've really been hitting it out of the park recently. I've always been a big fan of their lipsticks, so when I heard they had released a brand new collection, I was beyond excited.

I was lucky enough to receive six of the shades to test out, and the moment I did, I knew I needed to pick up the remaining six shades. So now I bring you, the Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick Collection.

There are twelve shades in total ranging from deep reds, to bright pinks, to perfect nudes. I'm also really digging their packaging.

Each shade is incredibly pigmented and goes on with just one swipe. I was really impressed with the pigmentation, as the above swatches were just one or two swipes each. I can't even pick a favourite from swatches alone.

I hope you'll excuse my messy swatches. Unfortunately that is the only downside to these lipsticks - if you can even call it a downside. These gorgeous lipsticks tend to be very difficult to apply. The formula is actually pretty wet so it applies more like a semi-solid gloss (if that makes sense at all) and so it tends to become a bit messy when you're trying to create those crisp lines. The shape of the tube doesn't really help with that either, sadly. But upon saying that, application aside, the formula has to be one of my favourites so far. As long as you're okay to spend a few more minutes on lip application, this one will work well for you.

I'm a huge fan of the Rimmel London The Only One lipsticks. The colours are stunning, the formula is gorgeous albeit messy, and the staying power is pretty brilliant. If you're looking for a quick and easy application, maybe skip these ones, but aside from that I would say give it a go.

Have you tried the Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick collection? If so,what are your thoughts? What's your favourite shade?
