Priceline Beauty Bag 2016

It's that time again... it's time for the Free Priceline Beauty Bag! Every year, Priceline stores release a pretty cool gift with purchase containing a bunch of beauty products. Each year I get really excited to see what's inside the bag, and always rush out to buy it.

The prerequisite is that you do need to spend $60 on eligible products (which are usually  the brands included in the bag) and then you get all these goodies for free.

This year, the bag was another larger cosmetic bag rather than a tote bag. It was covered in pink flowers and is rather cute, I will probably use this as a travel bag for my cosmetics. This year, the products inside added up to valuing over $180. This is a bit less than every other year, which is usually $220 although last year it had decreased to $200.

There are definitely less products than usual, but let's take a look individually and see how it all stacks up.

PL3

We got two liners - the Maybelline Master Graphic Liquid Liner in Bold Black, and the L'Oreal Cosmetics Super Liner in Black Buster. Both of these are thicker liners, which I find a bit more difficult to use than thinner ones. Nonetheless they will certainly come in handy and get used. I have used the Maybelline Master Graphic Liquid Liner before in the past, which I featured in a comparison with the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner.

There was only one lip product surprisingly, which was the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Striking. I already own this so it will get passed on to someone else. I believe these are being discontinued, so I am guessing that's why they are being included in the brand. I actually did a feature on the entire Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm Collection. We also received the Model's Prefer Cream Eyeshadow in Nude. I'll be interested to try this as I have not tried them in the past. The Australis Metallix Eyeshadow in Guns n' Rose Petals was also included. I think I already have this shade, but it's a pretty shade so I don't mind having a backup.

PL5

We also received the Physicians Formula Concealer Twins in Light, which I actually received back in the 2014 version of this bag. I never used it so I'm not sure if it's any good. I'm happy I at least got the lightest shade. There was also a Nude by Nature Undercover Airbrush Mineral Primer, which has been a common product included in these bags over the years. Good thing I don't mind this one at all. We also got a Savvy by DB Clear Brow Gel, which I also got last year.

PL6

For the nail products, we got the Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads, which are always handy to have so I'm certainly not complaining. We also got two Essie polishes; a full sized shade in Ballet Slippers, which is frustrating as I received this shade last year, and a mini top coat.

PL7

There were a few other bits and bobs, including an Eco Tools Loofah, which is always appreciated, a deluxe sample of the L'Oreal Base Magique, which I have about a million of already thanks to subscription boxes, and a mini bottle of Versace Crystal Noir. So cute.

PL8

I ended up only buying three things, which brought me up to the $60 mark. I got a few things I've been eyeing. I got the L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation in the lightest shade, as I've heard so many mixed reviews and wanted to make up my own mind. I was also super keen to try the Maybelline ColorBlur lips and the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colours, so I got one of each in shades I Like to Mauve It and Flirtation

Overall I wasn't overly impressed with the freebies in comparison to the other years, however I appreciate that this is obviously a gift with purchase so I'm obviously not going to be too harsh on them. To be honest anything for free is always appreciated, so I still thing this is an incredible deal considering.
If you want to check out the other bags, you can check them out here: 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012.

Have you purchased the Priceline Beauty Bag? If so, what are your thoughts? How do you feel it compares against the previous years?
