May Lip Monthly*

May Lip Monthly Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

If you've been following me for a good while, then you'll know that I'm a sucker for a subscription box. I used to be subscribed to all the beauty boxes in Australia - eventually, I had to give them up due to money constraints and an overflowing array of samples.

When I was offered the chance to try out the subscription box Lip Monthly, I jumped at it. I used to get the old Lip Monthly boxes, but it looks as though they have had an entire rebrand. Lip Monthly, for those who don't know, is a subscription service that includes full sized lip products. Who could say no to that?

Lip Monthly came in a gorgeous little bag. I love the design. It's compact and, funnily enough, is the perfect size to keep lip products in.

All the goodies in this month's bag. I received three full sized lip products and one non-lip product. I was a bit surprised to see something that wasn't a lip product, but I'm grateful all the same.

There is also a little card included so that you know what brand you're getting, and how much the product costs on its own. It also calculates how much your bag is worth altogether.

The three lip products I received. I received a lipstick from brand Dirty Little Secret, which I had not heard of before. The shade was Vengence and was a deep purple shade. I was a bit intrigued by the So Susan Jello Shot Lip & Cheek Stain in Hungover. It's a unique product and came in a very wearable and pretty shade. I had not heard of this brand either. Lastly, I received a Manna Kadar 3 in 1 Gloss in Manna Babe. This was another deep purple; which was a tad disappointing as the first lipstick was almost the same shade but a different finish and formula. It's a pretty colour however so I am not complaining.

We also received the Jor'El Parker Fango Mud Therapy which is a facial mask. I love face masks so this will come in handy. It's a very small tube though so I'm not sure if this one is full size.

Overall I'm fairly happy with my Lip Monthly. I have a few new lip products to try out, as well as a skincare product. I loved all the shades I received, and while I would have liked to see a bit more diversity in the shade department, I was happy that it was three different type of lip products.

Remember, if you sign up to Lip Monthly using my code JASMINE55, you'll get 55% off your first order. How amazing is that? So make sure to check them out!
