L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Dream Team

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Dream Team - Sweetaholic Beauty

Recently, I was sent a product from the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil range. I was so in love with the results, that I actually went out and grabbed some more products from the range. I've since tried them all out and safe to say, I'm in love.

At this stage, I've got four products from the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil range. I have the shampoo, conditioner, leave in cream* and nourishing masque*. This has become my haircare dream team!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner were. They were on sale at my local Woolies and ended up costing about $5.00 for the both of them. Being that the price was so low, I didn't really have high hopes.

Firstly, this stuff smells amazing. I find I need to double cleanse with the shampoo - but to be honest I need to do that with most shampoos anyway. The conditioner wasn't as oily as I was expecting it to be, considering it has the word oil in its name and worked really well with my hair. This left my hair feeling clean and shiny, as well as volumised.

This is my new Holy Grail item. The L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Leave In Cream* was sent to me as a new product. I was so hesitant to try it out as my hair is naturally oil, and the last thing I really wanted to do was include more oil. A little goes a long way, and I was so delighted to find my hair loved this. Not only does it cut my drying time in half, it also gives my hair a lovely shine and keeps it from getting too frizzy. I find that most days I don't even need to use a straightener as my hair is left looking so nice.

A new favourite for me is the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Masque*. This mentions on the tub that it really is for dry hair, whereas my hair is fairly oily. That being said, my ends are fairly dry and brittle so I still decided to give this a go. I applied liberally to my ends and left for about five minutes after using my shampoo and conditioner. I washed it out and loved the effect. My hair felt instantly smoother and nourished. And oh my goodness - the smell. It smells amazing and I could sit there all day just sniffing this tub! The best part about this hair mask is that it's gentle enough to use a few times a week.

I'm totally in love with these new products from the L'Oreal Elvive range. Usually, my hair hates the cheaper brands available in supermarkets and really only responds to salon products, but I'm really pleased with the quality of this range. I'm not sure if there are any other products in the range, but I'll be popping into a store soon to check them out.

Have you tried the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil products? If so, what are your thoughts?
