Elucent Skincare - Review*

Elucent Skincare - Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Recently, I was offering the chance to try out some select products from the Elucent Skincare range. I have tried a few products from this brand before and had mixed feelings, so I thought I would give these babies another go.

The products I received were based on my own personal skincare concerns; pigmentation and uneven skin tone. I used these four products for the total month, so my skin has well and truly made up it's mind about each product.

Elucent Skincare - Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

I received the Anti-Aging Gentle Cleanser, the Whitening Day Moisturiser, the Whitening Spot Treatment and the Whitening Night Moisturiser

I have tried the Whitening Cleanser before, which was not my favourite product, so I was a bit hesitant about the Whitening range altogether as I was worried my skin may not like it too much. In saying that, I was excited to try as the Whitening range helps with brightening and evening out skin tone.

Anti-Aging Gentle Cleanser

This was definitely my favourite of the products. My skin absolutely loved it. Because it includes a combination of AHAs and vitamin B3 and E, the product gently exfoliates and revitalises. I felt as though my skin was smoother than usual, and I could skip my usual exfoliation steps without too much worry. I felt as though after using this, my skin felt clean but still supple.

Whitening Day Moisturiser
I have tried this one before but didn't try it long enough to see any results. This moisturiser also contains SPF 30 which is a very high SPF for a moisturiser - which I love. At first, my skin didn't exactly love it, but after a while, my skin started to work with it. My skin was feeling plump, hydrated and clear.

Whitening Spot Corrector

I decided to use this one under my eyes, as I usually have dark circles. The corrector had a really nice consistency so it felt very luxe to apply. I didn't use it for the entire month, as I wanted my skin to get used to the other products first. I feel like prolonged use of this product would have better results, but so far I'm liking it. I feel like my eyes are brighter and my skin looks far less sallow. I will definitely be continuing with this product.

Whitening Night Moisturiser

I think my skin didn't like this one much, unfortunately. I kept with it, but it felt too heavy on my skin so I had to use far less than I usually would. I felt as though I needed to cleanse again in the morning due to the heaviness of the product. My skin didn't break out when using it, at least, but it wasn't my favourite night cream. I think this would work so well for those with dry skin.

Overall, I loved almost all of the products. I will be continuing on with the cleanser, and the spot corrector. I may use the day cream on and off along with other products, but I'll be passing the night cream along to someone I believe would love it.

After using the products for a month, my skin is looking clearer and brighter. I would definitely love to try more from this range. Have you tried the Elucent range before? If so, what is your favourite?
