Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Range - Full Review

Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Range - Full Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Welcome back to my blog... it's been a while. Sorry about that. If you're a regular reader, then you'll know I tried a relaunch in February but thanks to life getting in the way, I didn't stick with it. But I am back; hopefully, this time to stay.

Lately, I've been trying out a new range called Andalou Naturals. They are available in Priceline and have a relatively large selection of products. I chose the 1000 Roses range - for no specific reason, just that I like roses and the range mentioned it worked well with sensitive skin. As I've been using it non-stop for the past three months, I thought I would share an in-depth review.

Welcome to 2018

Welcome to 2018 - Sweetaholic Beauty

2017 is finally over. Well, it's been over for just over a month now. I've been working overtime trying to catch up with myself, so my blog has been on the backburner for a little while.

2017 was both one of the worst years of my life, and one of the best years of my life. To start with, my partner and I got engaged. We've been together for nine years, and we'd been talking about finally getting hitched anyway so it wasn't too much of a surprise.

Unfortunately, as the year went on, my partner's health deteriorated very quickly. My intuition saved his life in October as he suffered a major neurological event that could have led to his death, and if I hadn't discovered him just as I did, he would have absolutely lost his life. He spent a lot of time in hospital after that, luckily recovering in almost every way. He lost the use of his legs, but over time has regained them to almost full strength. For those of you who have been following me for some time, you'll know that he's struggled with his health for the past few years. This year, we discovered a life-changing diagnosis. Although he will now live with two chronic illnesses that are both incurable, he at least has the right medication and we are more prepared.

Due to this, we decided there was no time to wait. We applied to get married at the Treasury Building in Melbourne, and we finally tied the knot on December 16, 2017. I didn't want to have the cookie cutter wedding - I did things my own way. I had my closest friends and family by my side, and we went and had a delicious meal afterwards. That's all we needed. Married life is not really much different; aside from learning to call him my husband instead of my partner.

---

Now that 2017 is over, my husband and I have been enjoying life. It feels as though we have something fun on every single weekend, and we always have something to look forward to. This means less time for me to work on my blog, but more time to live my life. I've decided now that things have calmed down and are moving in the right direction, it's time to start blogging again. I'll most likely stick to one post a week, to ensure I still have plenty of time to have fun and relax.

For those of you still reading, I thank you for sticking with me on my journey. I originally started Sweetaholic Beauty as a creative outlet for when I was suffering from depression. Life has changed so much since then, but my blog will always be here as a wonderful outlet to share my love of beauty.

Here's to 2018 and all the wonderful things to come.
