BYS Eye Shadow Palette

I picked up this BYS Eye Shadow Palette from K-Mart last week for only $5.95, which for me, is a steal! (Especially coming from someone who is willing to pay full price for Too Faced palettes - AU$59.95!)
There were two types for this palette, a metallic look and a nude look. As I am so in love with nude palettes I figured I would instead go with the metallic palette, which had beautiful blacks and greys, ranging to purples! Very different for me!

The design is really cute in my opinion, and for me, I feel that textured palettes always have more depth and pigmentation, which is probably not true, but I'm not complaining! The colours were fairly rich, but not so rich that too much product came away on the brush. (Not that too much pigmentation is ever a problem for me!)

I personally found the colours really unique and special, something that I wouldn't really find on another palette, so I was very pleased!

As you can see, the darker colours are fairly pigmented, the lighter colours are more sheer of course. They do transfer to skin really well, and they do look gorgeous on the eyelids.
Overall, I'm really happy with the result of this palette. With such a small price-tag, I have no complaints. As I said before, I have paid about $60 for a Too Faced palette, and would spend more on a product I really love, so I'm very, very pleased with this palette at it's AU price!

So if you haven't given BYS a try since their recent overhaul, definitely pop into a K-Mart or wherever else you can find it (I've heard the Reject Shop also stocks)!

Have you tried BYS yet? If so, what did you think?
