January Empties

Another month, another set of empties. I can't believe how quickly January has flown by! Being on the spending ban (see here) has been really difficult, so I expected the time to go by a lot slower! But, it's already February, which is going to be even shorter!

But never mind all that. I have some empties to show you all! Sadly this month wasn't terribly exciting, but it can't always be!

Nivea Daily Essentials Cleansing Wipes

I purchased these in a pack of three, and gave the other two to family over the Christmas period. When I first used them, I didn't like them. I found them to be strangely dry and so I figured they would do a terrible job. However, I definitely grew to like them over the period I used them, and they actually removed make up remarkably well! Would I repurchase? Maybe. I'm not too sure. There are so many face wipes out there to be tried and tested, so I think I'll make my way through them first!

Lux Shea Scrub Exfoliating Wash in Shea Butter & Caramel

Wow! I purchased this when it was on sale in Coles, but to be honestly, mostly because of the smell! It smells amazing! So delicious you could eat it! The actual body wash was decent, it was extremely exfoliating and lathered up really well. It had a lot of micro beads, which gave it a lovely rough texture on my skin and really cleared away the dead skin. It's only fault was that it was gone far too quickly! A little did NOT go a long way, sadly. Would I repurchase? Yes, in the future. I have a lot of other body washes to tend to, so this is not on the top of my priority list. But in saying that, it was a beautiful body wash and in the future I will definitely try it out again!

Face of Australia Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover

I'm terrible with nail polish remover! I usually just wait until my nails start chipping and then chip the rest off myself whilst I'm in the shower or when washing my hands. Naughty, naughty. I found this to be an okay nail polish remover. There was nothing spectacular about it, and it being acetone free meant it was really difficult to remove glitter polishes with this one. I've since purchased the normal nail polish remover (with acetone, I assume) to see how that goes. So far, so good. Would I repurchase? No, there are plenty of others to test out first! Not that this is particularly bad, and while it's good for the price, I may drift back to it after testing out other brands!

Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Enamel Repair Toothpaste

This has become my favourite toothpaste. For a long time I was more concerned with whitening products, as my teeth are somewhat discoloured. (Woe is me!) However, I've decided I should be more focused on enamel production, or repair in my case, as my teeth aren't in the best shape. So far my teeth have become stronger and less sensitive, so this is definitely doing what it's supposed to be doing! Would I repurchase? Yes, and I already have!

So, there you have my empties for January. Like I said, nothing spectacular but some important products nonetheless!

Have you tried any of the above products? If so, what did you think?
Have you finished off any of your favourite products in the last month, or have you written an empties post? Let me know!
