Face of Australia Carnivale Nail Enamel Collection

FOA10

Face of Australia have done it again! They've released yet another amazing limited edition nail enamel collection, the Carnivale collection, which of course I had to get my hands on right away! This collection is a little different - firstly, the bottle shape has changed. The Carnivale collection is also a textured polish collection, which is definitely exciting as textured polishes have only just hit Aussie shores not too long ago and it's a fairly new concept to us!

Mango Slurpee, Summer Lovin', My Island Home, Bird of Paradise, Between the Flags, Masquerade, Midnight Fireworks, Ferris Wheel

Now, judging by the names and colours of this collection, I think Face of Australia had a difference in opinion. The first four shades are gorgeous matte summer colours, with summer names. I don't know what "My Island Home" or "Bird of Paradise" has to do with a carnival, but I'm not complaining because the colours are beautiful. Then we've got the next four, beautiful glitter textures akin to those released by OPI under the name of Liquid Sands. The names truly do match up to the theme on these ones, so I was impressed. Not sure why the big difference in the same collection (I'm thinking they could have broken this up in to two collections, but oh well) but I'm loving the colour range!

My favourites from this collection were definitely the glitter finishes, as they really stood out and looked amazing on the nails! "Summer Lovin'" also really caught my eye, and this has been the one I've worn most since I first got the collection!

I found that all polishes lasted a good length of time, usually a few good days without any wearing or chipping. Wearing started on about day 3, but nothing too bad. I was really happy with the colours and quality of these polishes! The colours are totally gorgeous, and the mattes are perfect for summer, and the glitters are perfect for party season!

Have you tried the new Face of Australia Carnivale nail enamel collection yet? If so, what did you think? What colour is your favourite?

All polishes were swatched with no base coat and no top coat.
