Colour Inspiration - Green

GR1

Being that today is St. Patrick's Day, I decided I would shed some light on my absolute favourite cosmetics that happen to be the colour green! I find that green is not usually my first colour of choice in most things, especially cosmetics, and I'm not really sure why! I've been told I look rather dashing in green (my boyfriend's opinion, not mine) so I really should try to experiment with the colour more. Because dying my hair completely green isn't experimental enough.

Eyes

Australis Cosmetics Neon Crush Eyeshadow Duo in #OMG, Bourjois Paris Eyeshadow Pot in 07, Chi Chi Baked Eyeshadow Singles in Fast Love, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Junkie

I have a review coming up shortly for the Australis Cosmetics Neon Crush Eyeshadow Duos, so I won't go into too much detail. These greens are truly unique to my collection, and are buttery soft! The Bourjois Paris Eyeshadow and the Chi Chi Baked Eyeshadow are both fairly similar, so I have no idea how I ended up with both. Bourjois Paris is far darker, however, bordering on black, while Chi Chi has a more forest green finish. The Urban Decay eye pencil in Junkie came in the Vault I got a little while ago! Perfect for just that pop of colour if you aren't adventurous enough to wear green eyeshadow!

Lips

Lime Crime Lipstick in Serpentina, Sleek MakeUP Eau La Liner in Tonic

Serpentina is one of my favourites, and I've wanted it ever since I first saw images of it floating around on the internet. It's such a unique colour, and although it's not something I'd wear every day, it's definitely something that makes me feel different! I picked up the Sleek Eau La Liner in Tonic to go with Serpentina, and was surprised that Sleek made a lip liner of this colour!

GR4

Nails

Zoya Polish in Logan, Essie Polish in Going Incognito, Ulta 3 Polish in Luck of the Irish

When it comes to nail polish, green is probably my smallest colour collection. I do love green polish, but I just don't seem to collect it. My absolute favourite green is Logan - it's the perfect shimmery green without looking too glittery, so it's perfect for a fancy night out. Going Incognito is a great solid green, no shimmers or glitter so a perfect base colour. Luck of the Irish is a given on St. Paddy's day - who could pass up the name?

Because of St. Paddy's Day, I'm definitely inspired to wear more green! I should really invest in more green, also! Are you a fan of green cosmetics? What is your preferred colour?
Is there a colour that you feel is lacking in your cosmetic collection?
