Lime Crime Lipstick Collection

LC1

At the end of March this year, I was luck enough to attend Salon Melbourne! Unlike last year, Lime Crime Australia was attending; selling all their gorgeous goodies at discounted prices! This was the perfect opportunity to finish off my Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick collection!

LC2

As far as I know, there are 19 colours in the Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick collection.
LC3

As you can see, Lime Crime Opaque Lipsticks come in all different colours! I absolutely adore the crazy colours they've created, as well as the more neutral safe for work colours!

LC4

Coquette, D'Lilac, Babette, Chinchilla, Great Pink Planet

The lighter colours are definitely some of my favourites. I find that the lighter colours are far easier to work with, and more creamier than others. I even broke Coquette because I was swatching too hard, so they are extra soft and sensitive! My favourite out of this set would have to be either Babette or Great Pink Planet.

LC5

Airborne Unicorn, Cosmopop, Geradium, My Beautiful Rocket, Countessa Flourescent

These colours I would describe as being more wearable whilst being more bright! Some I would say even verge on neon (I'm looking at you, Geradium) but still look gorgeous on the lips. My favourites are My Beautiful Rocket as it's the perfect orange, and Countessa Flourescent as it pleasantly surprised me as something I felt I could wear almost anywhere!

LC6

New Yolk City, Centrifuschia, Retrofuturist, Mint To Be, No She Didn't

Centrifuschia and Retrofuturist look completely normal next to the other three, but are fairly bright on the lips! New Yolk City, Mint To Be and No She Didn't aren't for the faint hearted - being some of the crazier colours included in this collection, they definitely make a statement on the lips!

LC7

Glamour 101, Poisonberry, Serpentina, Styletto

My boyfriend prefers me wearing these last four colours. He thinks that the darker colours look better on me, however I find them harder to deal with. Although they are very creamy, they are so opaque that it's super easy to make a mistake, so lip liner is a must!

1. Coquette, D'Lilac, Babette, Chinchilla, Great Pink Planet
2. Airborne Unicorn, Cosmopop, Geradium, My Beautiful Rocket, Countessa Flourescent

3. New Yolk City, Centrifuschia, Retrofuturist, Mint To Be, No She Didn't
4. Glamour 101, Poisonberry, Serpentina, Styletto

Each swatch was done with one swipe of each, so as you can see they are very pigmented! Out of the entire collection I actually don't have a colour that I don't like. Each of them are very versatile; even New Yolk City and No She Didn't! Despite them being very strange, they can be toned down or even mixed with other colours to create something super unique. (The same could be said for Styletto, too!)

Overall, there's not much else I can really say about Lime Crime Opaque Lipsticks. I absolutely love this collection! I'm really hoping that Lime Crime will release more colours in the future; although it seems doubtful as they are releasing more colours in their Velvetines range.

Have you tried Lime Crime before? If so, what are your thoughts? Which colour is your favourite?
