Priceline Skin Care Bag 2014

PL1

It's June again, which means it's time for the Priceline Free Skin Care Bag! In all honesty, I was considering not getting the bag this year to try and save some money. But when I saw everything inside, I knew I had to take advantage of this amazing offer. Basically you need to spend $65+ on skincare from the included brands, and you get this awesome bag of goodies worth over $340 - for free! Last year, the bag was worth around $200, so this is definitely an improvement.

PL2

The bag itself was a little different to last years. Last years we received a flashy black bag, but this year we're seeing a nice silver bag. I'm not sure if this is a Model's Prefer bag, but I would guess that it most likely is.

PL3

All the goodies this year!

PL4

Swisspers Original Cleansing Wipes - Sample Pack

I actually love receiving the sample packs of makeup wipes. They're really handy when taking when travelling, especially short term travelling. I've tried the Swisspers wipes before, so I know they're not bad.

PL5

Essenzza Fuss Free Naturals Natural Facial Cleansing Wipes in Citrus + Pineapple Enzymes

I've actually never heard of this brand before, but I'm loving the funky packaging. I can't wait to give these a go and see what they're like, because I would love to try other things from the brand as well.

PL6

Hope's Relief Goats Milk Soap

I've never actually tried goats milk soap before, even though my mother is always telling me to. I'll definitely give this a go and see if I notice any difference.

PL7

Manuka Doctor Purified Bee Venom & Manuka Honey Skincare

Oh wow, this actually sounds a bit scary to me! Bee venom!? The box says this is basically a wrinkle filler. I don't have any wrinkles yet (at least none that I've noticed) so this would be wasted on me. I might pass this on to my mum and see if she wants to give it a go!

PL8

Model Co Face Tan

I don't use fake tan, especially not on my face, so this will be passed on to somebody else. Most likely my sister, who loves to tan.

PL9

Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Makeup Corrector Pen

I already have one of these from a previous Priceline bag, and it's super useful! I'll definitely be keeping this one stored away for when my first one finishes, because it works really well.

PL10

Swisspers Aloe Everything Balm

This sounds really interesting. I would not have thought to use anything aloe on my lips, but this says it would be okay on the lips. You can also use this to sculpt your eyebrows, as well as soothing sunburn. It seems like it's a great all-rounder.

PL11

Antipodes Nourishing Night Cream in Avocado Pear

I've been wanting to try something from Antipodes for a while now, and this seems as good as any to test out. I like the sound of avocado being used, as well as pear, so I'll definitely try this out.

PL12

Palmer's Coca Butter Intensive Relief Concentrated Cream

This sounds like it would be great for when your skin is very dry. I'll try this out next time I shave, as my skin usually gets super dry afterwards!

PL13

Burt's Bees Cuticle Cream in Lemon Butter

I've been on the lookout for a new cuticle cream, just to mix things up, so this is perfect. Lemon Butter sounds like it would smell amazing, so I can't wait to try this out. I also haven't tried a lot from Burt's Bees in the past, so I'm happy to receive this.

PL14

Thursday Plantation Macadamia Oil

I've never even heard of Macadamia Oil, so I was really interested when I got this. I'll definitely be trying this out on my face and see how it compares to Rosehip oil. It's perfect for dry skin, which is something I've been experiencing lately, so now is a good time to try it out.

PL15

Priceline Beauty Essentials Dry Skin Body Lotion

It seems like everything in this bag is targeting dry skin! I'll definitely be trying this out on my skin as well to see how it fares after shaving. This is a huge bottle too, so I won't be running out any time soon!

PL16

Nivea Express Hydration Hand Cream

I have a hand cream from Nivea similar to this one floating around the house that I use every so often, so it'll be great to have a backup when I finally finish off that one. I've already tried this one out and it's super absorbent and smells really nice.

PL17

Sukin Derma Daily Gentle Wash

I haven't head of this range from Sukin before, but it looks nice. I'll definitely be trying this out soon, as my current face wash is almost finished and I had nothing to replace it with!

PL18

Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser

I've heard so much buzz around the Neutrogena Naturals range but never ended up trying it out myself. This will be a great opportunity to test it out and see what everyone is loving about it.

PL19

Sanctuary Spa Body Scrub

I actually finished off my last tube of this a few months ago, so this is good timing. I've been using another scrub in the mean time which is also almost gone, so I'll probably start using this one again.

PL20

People for Plants Mist Toner

I was pretty excited to get this one. I love mist toners, and have been using one from another brand at the moment. It makes using toner so much easier, particularly in winter when it's far too cold for skincare! It's also really fun to use (and will be oh so refreshing come summer!)

PL21

Biore Steam Activated Cleanser

I love Biore skincare, so it'll be great to keep this one handy for when I have nothing else. The steam activation is really nice in winter, so I'll probably start using it shortly!

PL22

Puretopia Gentle Exfoliating Face Scrub

I got one of these last year and regrettably have not used it. I'm not sure why, I must have hidden it somewhere in my bathroom out of sight. I won't make that mistake again, I will use this and most likely review it, as I've loved everything else from Puretopia that I've tried.

PL23

Avene Thermal Spring Water

These always come in handy, particularly in summer time. I love to take these around with me and just spray, and my dog's love it too! I'll be saving this for the warmer months.

PL24

Suvana Organic Paw Paw & Honey Balm

This sounds really nice. I haven't used anything from this brand before, but the packaging looks so cute and inviting, so I'm happy to get this.

PL25

Dr. Lewinn's Firming Eye Cream

I'm always on the look out for a good eye cream, so I'll be interested to see how I go with this one. Dr. Lewinn's is a great brand, so I expect good results!

PL26

Chapstick True Shimmer in Tropical

I assume this Chapstick has some shimmer in it, due to it's name, which would be nice if you're not wanting to wear any lipstick or lip gloss. I'm interested to try this, as I'm hoping it'll taste yummy!

PL27

Yes To Carrots Lip Butter in Berry

Everything I've tried from the Yes To range has been pretty good, so I'm happy to get this. This isn't called a balm, it's called a lip butter, so hopefully it's nice and moisturising!

PL28

Coupons Galore!

We got heaps of coupons in the bag as well, and I'll try to actually make use of them this year! I always forget about the coupons (probably because I don't need new skincare for six months!)

PL29

Samples

We got two samples as well, one for Palmer's Cocoa Butter Moisturising Lotion, and one for Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac in Kelp and Seaweed. They're both sachets but it seems like there is enough in both for one try each.

We did also get a little gift pack with a Model's Prefer cosmetic bag, a mirror and an eye liner. I actually gave these away before I got a chance to take pictures, as I already have a couple of sets of them.

PL30

My Haul

I also had to spend $65 to actually qualify for the bag, so I ended up with a few skincare essentials, and a few fun things. I stocked up on cleansing wipes, and ended up with two packs of Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in Night Calming, and one in the original. I also grabbed the Neutrogena Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover, my go-to remover. I decided to try a new toner, the Nivea Refreshing Toner. For the fun stuff, I picked up the Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask, which I thought would be great for winter, and the Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub. Last year I got the Warming Sugar Scrub, which was amazing, so I decided I would try out the Salt Scrub and see which one I like better!

--

So overall I thought the bag was great value. I ended up picking up a few necessities, and a few fun stuff, and walked away with almost $400 worth of skincare goodies! Some stuff I'll probably share with my sister and mum, but most of it will last me the next six months!

Did you end up getting the Priceline Skin Care Bag? If so, what did you think? Did you spend up big to get it, or just grab a few essentials like me? What's your favourite thing from the bag?
