The Best Blemish Busters

Blemish Busters, Acne, Skincare, Skin Problems, Bbloggers, Fixaderm, The Body Shop, Tea Tree,

My sister and I always suffered from bad skin growing up. When I say bad skin, I'm talking about acne, as well as more major skin troubles like abscesses. This meant we were always trying the latest thing to get rid of our acne and blemishes, usually without much luck. Over the years I have found a very few number of things that actually work for me, and majority of these things have tea tree in common.

Tea tree has amazing bacterial fighting properties, and is all natural, which makes it the perfect weapon against blemishes. Of course this is all just going from personal experience. Anyone who has experienced skin blemishes will know that something different will work for everyone, so it's just best to try things out until you find something that works.

Blemish Busters, Acne, Skincare, Skin Problems, Bbloggers, Fixaderm, The Body Shop, Tea Tree,

Today I'll be talking about three products that contain tea tree oil that have really helped my skin issues in the past, and continue to today. All three are easily accessible in Australia and are pretty cheap, too.

Fixaderm

Fixaderm is one of my favourite skin treatments. It contains a wide range of other essential oils that help fight acne, as well as being used for treating other types of issues such as cuts, rashes and even fungal infections. This also helps with acne scars a little bit as well, which is pretty great. I found that this is my go-to, as I don't have to dilute it and can apply directly to the skin. This heals pretty much anything with lightening speed. I originally wrote a review for Fixaderm here, which is pretty old and outdated, so sorry about that. (Fixaderm was originally sent to me for review, however I am already on my third bottle that I have repurchased myself.) You can purchase Fixaderm here.

Tea Tree Oil

Of course just regular tea tree oil will make an appearance here. Tea tree oil has amazing healing properties for the skin, and so this is great if you do need to use it on pimples. Only catch is you do need to dilute it with either water, or you can add a few drops to aloe vera gel or jojoba oil. You can also use tea tree oil in your hair, as this will help with any skin issues you might have such as an itchy scalp. Just make sure you don't get this on your mouth, as it not only tastes disgusting, but can have adverse effects! If you have super sensitive skin, I would recommend trying one of the other products first as pure tea tree oil can be incredibly strong!

The Body Shop Blemish Gel*

I was delighted to see that The Body Shop had released their own blemish gel, so of course I had to try it. This is made up of some amazing natural products, and of course includes tea tree. This gel is incredibly cooling and good to try if you do have sensitive skin. It comes with a little applicator (which I always wipe down after, just in case) and you can apply directly to your blemishes. I found this one had really great results, and I've actually popped this into my handbag for when I feel blemishes starting when I'm not at home.

All three products are great for busting blemishes, at least for me. I recommend Fixaderm to absolutely everyone, and all the people I know that have tried it, have loved it.
As I said before, though, everyone's skin is different. The best thing you can do is keep trying different products. Tea Tree is renowned for it's healing abilities and it's anti bacterial properties, so it's a given that it's going to help combat skin issues.

Have you tried any of the above products? If so, what are your thoughts? Which one is your favourite? Do you have a go-to blemish buster that I haven't mentioned?
