Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara

Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Covergirl has been one of my favourite brands since I started my love affair with makeup, and I've always had a soft spot for their mascaras. When I heard about the new Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara, I was excited and just knew I had to give it a whirl.

I actually love mascaras that come with the brush outside of the tube to begin with. I feel like this gives it a fresher feel when you first use the mascara. It also lets you check the brush out and see if it's going to work for you.

Covergirl promises soft-to-the-touch lashes with this new mousse formula; as it contains natural beeswax to help keep your lashes from becoming stiff and brittle. This one is designed as an every day wear mascara, so I was expecting a natural looking lash.

The brush is apparently described as petal shaped, but I don't see it. I do like that the little spikes are fairly long and it looks like it will separate lashes well, and help get closer to to the lash line. I found that as soon as I put the mascara on, I couldn't see that, so it was nice to check the brush out before drenching it in mascara.

No Mascara - One Eye Mascara - Both Eyes Mascara

I personally have very flat and straight lashes. They have no natural curl, so I'm often using eyelash curlers to make my face look more open. As you can see from the second photo, the mascara really did help to lift my lashes and create a little bit of a curl. By the final photo, my eyes look more awake and framed. And these photographs were of just one application.

I'm really impressed with this mascara. I found the application to be very easy - the formula was lightweight on my lashes and didn't weigh them down. The brush really did help separate my lashes well, so I didn't experience any clumps.

I feel like the Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara gave me a lot of volume and curl, whilst still looking incredibly natural and not like I was wearing fifty layers of mascara. This has become one of my favourite go-to mascaras to help create a perfect every day natural look.
I am thrilled with this mascara and would definitely consider repurchasing once I've gone through my thousands of unopened mascaras!

Have you tried the Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara yet? If so, what are your thoughts? What do you look for in a new mascara?

You can purchase the Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara for roughly $17.95.
