Blog Goals - 2016

Blog Goals of 2016 - Sweetaholic Beauty

We're almost there - Happy New Year!

This past year has been a trying and stressful one, but it's also been filled with some lovely memories. I have big plans for 2016 and can't wait to see what the New Year will bring.

A few things I'm expecting this year...

My sister will be welcoming her first son later on in January. This means I will be becoming an aunt for the very first time, and I am beyond excited. I can't wait to spoil my little nephew with love.

I'm rebranding Sweetaholic Beauty. I've already organised to get a brand new site template and I am excited and scared all at once. This should be happening in early January or whenever I get the time to sit down and get things moving. My writing style and photography style won't be changing, though, as I actually like where I am with that.

So what are my goals?

As this year has been so crazy, specifically with my partner being in and out of hospital a few times, I've really disappointed myself in terms of scheduling posts. In the past year, I'd basically planned my posts in my head, but never executed them until the day I was meant to upload them. Not this year - this year I am scheduling my posts ahead of time so I can put more effort and time into my actual content, without missing out on important things in life. Expect to see a more regular content from me this year.

I've also found that I have been lacking in my social media engagement. I absolutely love chatting on social media to readers and other bloggers, and this year I'll be trying my hardest to make sure I'm online more to actually chat.

Last but not least, my major goal is to ensure I am enjoying blogging. For a little while in the last year, blogging felt a little bit like a chore. If I stopped blogging while my partner was sick, I was worried that I would lose all my readers and never gain you back again. This year, if I feel like my heart is not in it, I'll be letting you all know why. Life is too short - do what makes you happy.
