This mask also featured in my Pamper Yourself with Sanctuary Spa post that I wrote last year, so if you want some more in-depth information about this mask you can read it there. This mask heats up when you use it, and contains charcoal to give your face that deep clean. This one is the only out of the three that doesn't go completely dry.
If you've been following social media at all, you'll know this mask has recently blown up. I've actually been using this for a few months now and I gotta say it really is a stand-out product. This one contains charcoal and kaolin clay, so it dries really quick. You can actually see it drawing out impurities as you're using it. Afterwards, my skin feels amazing.
Another clay based mask; this one is a lot of fun to use. It goes on completely black which is pretty cool, and dries rather quickly. Removing it is a little bit of a pain, but once I manage to remove it all, my skin is practically glowing. So smooth and soft, this one really hit home.

Have you tried any of the above face masks? If so, what are your thoughts? Which one is your favourite? Do you have a different mask that really packs a punch?
Products marked with a * were provided for consideration.
As a bit of face mask obsessive myself I am quite surprised that I have only tried one of these face masks - the Sanctuary Spa mask! I love Deep Cleaning masks especially those of the charcoal variety, as you said they are fantastic for getting down and dirty and really clean out the skin! My faves are the Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask and the Aesop Parsley Seed Mask. If you haven't tried those two I would really suggest giving them a go! xx

I do love that Sanctuary Spa mask! I would like to try the NKD one, but I'm not sure where to get it from. Swisse hasn't overwhelmed me with their offerings, but perhaps, I've tried the wrong ones?
ReplyDeleteI love how all the face masks are varying shades of grey! I haven't tried Sanctuary Spa but I've heard great reviews about them! :)

Everyone is going crazy over the Swisse Manuka Honey Mask! I just can't bring myself to trust a company who doesn't specialise in skin care lol you may have convinced me to maybe give it a try though. Any masks are packing a punch on my skin at the moment because it's so sensitive!!

I have the Sanctuary Spa mask. It was good when I would do a hair treatment at the same time. I'm currently using the Sukin Detoxifying mask and it's quite lovely.

I haven't, but I spied that Swisse mask in the paper the other day & thought about trying it out, although maybe not until I have a breakout. That NKD mask looks interesting, might have to give it a whirl too if I can find it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried NKD yet but that mask I've had my eye on for ages! It looks so cool and good to know it works!

These all sound great! I wanted to pick up the Sanctuary Spa Thermal Detox Mask during the Priceline sale but it was sold out in store when I went! Will definitely need to buy it next time!
