Hand Cream for Problem Skin*

Hand Cream for Problem Skin - Sweetaholic Beauty

Eczema is a skin condition that affects a large portion of the population in one way or another. For those who don't know, eczema causes itchiness, redness, sores and bleeding. It's pretty nasty stuff. Unfortunately for my partner, he gets intense eczema on his hands. We've tried a lot of things, including prescription medication provided by a dermatologist, and sadly very little has worked.

To keep his hands under control, he uses a variety of methods. One method includes using Egyptian Magic Cream with gloves while he sleeps. He finds this at least keeps it to a minimum. But due to lots of reasons (including forgetting to do it a lot of the time) his eczema is not cured. I wanted to share with you all his current rotation of hand products to use throughout the day that have helped him manage his eczema better.

At the moment he is using three different hand creams. All three have been known to be good for dermatitis and other skin conditions, so it's no surprise that they have been working well.

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette Review & Swatches - Sweetaholic Beauty

A few weeks ago, I sauntered into Mecca and went on a bit of a spending spree. One thing I decided to pick up was the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette. I hadn't been tempted by the much hyped Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette, and I hadn't really heard very good reviews about the blush palette, however I decided to try it out myself in store. I was so smitten that it came home with me.

5 Tips To Help Make Blogging Easier

5 Tips To Help Make Blogging Easier - Sweetaholic Beauty

One think you all probably know by now - bloggin' ain't easy. For the most of us, blogging is a hobby that we usually explore in our free time. Many of us have full time jobs, families to take care of and a social life that can get in the way of being a successful blogger that produces awesome new content every single day. I won't lie - I would love to give up my day job and work exclusively on my blog and Bloggers United AU. But it can be pretty tough to actually get your blog on a steady path to success.

Now, I'm not a professional blogger by any means. But, I have seen my blog and social media following grow significantly thanks to some of the tips I'm about to share. These tips have made blogging easier and more fun for me.

5 Tips To Help Make Blogging Easier - Sweetaholic Beauty

Write Everything Down

Inspiration can strike at any time, so it always helps to be prepared. Carry around a notepad and pen, or have a notepad app on your phone ready at hand. Try to keep something beside your bed at night, too. I find that my inspiration usually hits at the most inopportune times - such as the shower, the workplace or the middle of the night. Before I was writing everything down, I was losing awesome ideas almost as quickly as they came to me. Now, even if I write down just vague ideas, I still have more to go on when I actually sit down to create new content.

Last week, I posted my recap of the Bloggers United AU Adelaide Event. As promised, I've finally sat down and taken photos of all the goodies in the many goody bags we received. I may or may not have missed a few things - but this is the bulk of it all. (Apologies if I have missed anything - there was a lot to go through.)

I couldn't even fit everything into one photo. Oops.

Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick Collection*

Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick Collection Review & Swatches - Sweetaholic Beauty

Rimmel London has always been one of my favourite brands, and lately they've really been hitting it out of the park recently. I've always been a big fan of their lipsticks, so when I heard they had released a brand new collection, I was beyond excited.

I was lucky enough to receive six of the shades to test out, and the moment I did, I knew I needed to pick up the remaining six shades. So now I bring you, the Rimmel London The Only One Lipstick Collection.

There are twelve shades in total ranging from deep reds, to bright pinks, to perfect nudes. I'm also really digging their packaging.

Coffee Addiction: Favourite Coffee Based Products

Coffee Addiction: Favourite Coffee Based Products - Sweetaholic Beauty

When I was younger, and when I say younger I mean in my early twenties, I did not really like coffee at all. I hated the taste and the smell. But as I matured, so did my tastes, and now it's safe to say I love coffee. Sadly I don't find that the caffeine wakes me up as well as it does for other people, however I've grown to love the taste and smell of a good coffee. What I've also grown to love is products containing coffee - especially coffee scrubs. I've tried a fair few, but I wanted to share some of my favourite coffee based products.

I have three coffee products in my current rotation and I've been loving them. Two are body scrubs, and one is a face and body mask - but it's also a bit scrubby too.

February Empties

February Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Another month done and dusted - and another lot of empties. I was actually pretty happy with the amount of empties I used up this month - mostly because there were a few that I had been trying to finish up.

Bloggers United AU Adelaide Event Recap

Bloggers United AU Adelaide Event - Sweetaholic Beauty

For those of you who follow me across social media, you'll know that I am actually co-founder of an organisation called Bloggers United AU. Bloggers United AU was created with the idea of bringing bloggers and brands together, to help create a harmonious community in the blogging world here in Australia. Fellow co-founder Nikita and I held our very first Adelaide event on the 29th of February, and so I wanted to share a little bit about the day with everyone.

Our Adelaide event was very different to our previous Sydney, Perth and Melbourne events, but it made for an amazing day.

I actually flew in the night before and stayed at our magnificent location, the Seawall Apartments in Glenelg. We were right on the beach, and I was greeted with this amazing scenery in the morning. We were lucky enough to have a clear day.

February Favourites

February Favourites - Sweetaholic Beauty

February was such a huge month. I had my birthday, I met up with all kinds of different friends, had our amazing Bloggers United AU event in Adelaide and oh yeah, I became an aunt! So pretty exciting month all up. It was less of a struggle to find things to include in my favourites this month; maybe writing up the favourites post is starting to feel more natural.

This month I've included a few non-beauty items for those of you who want to get to know me better. And for those of you who don't care, you can just ignore the last part of this blog post.
